7 Steps for In-Service Candidates

First, contact your Career Counselor (CC) and tell him: "I want to become a Navy SEAL."
  1. Ask your NC or Departmental CC to complete an NC Worksheet for you.
  2. Submit your completed NC Worksheet online or fax it to the PST Coordinator (619) 437-2873 for processing.
  3. After your NC receives the Worksheet confirmation, you must request the PST via e-mail to the NSW Motivators office. The processing may take up to 5 business days.
  4. After you receive confirmation letter with the date of your PST from the Motivators, make sure to show up on time at your PST location. Do not forget to bring a copy of the confirmation letter with you.
  5. Once the PST is completed, the PST administrator will send your results back to the NSW Motivators.
  6. If you passed, the NSW Motivators will complete the endorsement letter and send you and your Command NC/Departmental a PDF copy of the recommendation letter.
  7. Once you receive this endorsement letter, you will need to complete your dive physical or other items for your package and submit to BUPERS 401D.
