My name is Kyle Fonger. I like outside Chicago. I have had a wonderful girlfriend for almost 2 years now. I am a lifeguard at a YMCA. I am a Junior in High school and play varsity football. Since i was in 8th grade, i have wanted to be a SEAL. The thought of shooting guns, blowing stuff up, and killing bad guys really appealed to me. I also have almost kind of grown up knowing a was going to join the military at some point or another because my dad was in the military. So i figure i wanna be the best of the best. I wanna do stuff no body likes to talk about, but knows gets done. The Navy SEAL's are awesome. No one F***s with a SEAL. Once i'm out of high school, i either plan to join the navy, become a SEAL, go back to school, go through OCS come back as a SEAL officer. Or, go to college, OCS, and SEAL training as an officer. I still am discussing all this with my SEAL mentor. HOOYAH!!

Hi again Kyle.  I was happy to hear from you again.  Okay, here's the deal.  I have always (since high school) been totally obsessed with Navy Seals.  As long as I can remember it's been this way for me.   I have read everything I can about them, I'm always been on the lookout for anything about them I can get my hands on, movies, documentaries, etc.  I'm not sure why, but it is just the way it's always been for me.  They totally fascinate me.  The irony of it is that I have never actually known a Navy Seal or ever met one.  Can you believe that?  I grew up in New Jersey and I used to go on vacation to Virginia Beach just so that I could see them run on the beach in the early morning.  I would actually get up at the crack of dawn just to get a glimpse of them.  I would plan my entire vacation on seeing the Navy Seals near the Base is Norfolk.  I woud sit at the beach, reading about them and waiting for them to run by.  Lots of other guys would make passes at me and try to get to know me, but I wasn't interested.  I just wanted to see the Seals!  Pretty crazy right?  Back then, it was total hero worship.  Though I never had the courage to go up to one of them and introduce myself.  I used to fantasize about doing just that, but never had the nerve to actually do it.  They looked so intimidating and the more intimadating they were, the more obsessed I became.  If I had to do it over, I would certainly make a move now, but I was very shy back then.  Eventually the hero worship became admiration and now I'm just in awe with them.  When I met my husband and he told me he was former Navy (Vietnam), I was so excited.  That was the closest I ever came to the military.   I watch the military channel every night and I go on this web site at least twice a day just to satisfy my curiosity and in the hopes of maybe meeting a SEAL someday.  Maybe you will be my first SEAL friend.  I see that you have Tears fo the Sun as one of your favorite movies.  I've seen it like 10 times - I love it too!  This is kind of long and you are probably bored by now (maybe even stopped reading!), but I just wanted you to get to know me.  PLEASE stay in touch with me and let me know how it goes for you.  I will be thinking about you and cheering for you all the way!!  Write back when you get a chance.  HOOYAH!  Marilyn
