Guinness is fading.

Well, to any mates who know Guinness, my faithful dog and bestest friend, I regret to tell all he is dying.  He has been diagnosed with Lymphoma, and is not doing well. For those that remember him pounding up and down Chick’s Beach, please know he has had an equally exuberant existence here in Florida, and if you know he and I, you can appreciate the fact that we will never give up on each other, and he will have the fullest quality of life, right up till the end.

I plan on making a trip up to that area with him soon, it’s been a long time, and I don’t know who is still around or not, but to have that interaction with team mates – the environment he was raised around, even if I/we have to carry him around, would be as special as anything I can imagine. So… if you know me – Sherweasel, and my best buddy, Guinness, contact me, so you know when we’re coming. It would mean the world to Guinness.

So sorry to hear about your best friend, we all have had animals that are so much part of our families and its hard when we lose them. All I can say is that they go to a place where they are healthy and young and vibrante again. They will be waiting for you when its your time to leave this earth. Go read "Rainbow Bridge" a beautiful poem. Take care!

So sorry to hear about your best bud. Not much beats an animal's unconditional love. Hope his last days are full of love and fun.

Oh my goodness, I am so sorry.  I just went through the same with my baby finally passing about 3 weeks ago.  I loved her and I still expect to see her, then feel the pang of disappointment when I realize that she isn't here anymore.  Hope you guys have a great trip up to VA.  Hugs and kisses to the pup.
