Embrace The Suck
Embrace the suck is becoming my personal motto. The more I train, the more I like this saying. When things get hard, I just remind myself to take the pain and deal with it. It'll do me no good whining to myself or those around me; it certainly wont make anything easier. It certainly wont help, so why bother? I wish more people would adopt this saying -- I can't even begin to explain how annoying it is to hear some idiot routinely bitch about not getting enough sleep, how they have work in the morning, or how their back is sore because they slept in the wrong position. They need to learn to suck it up and deal with it! I'm confident no one wants to hear it :) My little rant doesn't apply to the majority of those on this site. I was just making a general observation about my peers around me in public. I'm sure many of you can relate! Everyone here tends to be positive, and I'm grateful for that. Surrounding yourself with those that actually want to train makes everything so much more tolerable! So thank you for the excellent attitudes, and remember, "Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming" :)
