Hi there,
I'm a Dutch guy working here in the US on the F-35
program.
My childhood dream of joining the Navy has never
changed. Which job I want to do and which Navy
has.
I wanted to join the Dutch Navy and be a pilot.
Over time and through maturing it changed to US
Navy carrier jet pilot. And now changed to the
dream and path of becoming a SEAL.
Still a long road ahead of me, getting a green
card, getting into SEAL shape, correcting eye
sight. I'll get there someday and nobody can stop
me chasing my dream.
The journey to achieve my dream, I feel, has
changed me and taught me many things that I feel
made me a better person. If in the end I won't
achieve the ultimate goal of becoming a SEAL, it
won't break me because of that. And I think the
absence of this fear of failing keeps me focused
on my dreams.
