Just wanted to share a story...
In 1994, I had the honor of attending the 50th Anniversary/Remembrance of D-Day. This VERY somber occasion was capped by soldiers and sailors from all over the world just taking over the city and having the best time of my 16 years career (so far). They made us all wear our dress uniforms, mostly so that the cops could tell us apart and know which group of MP/SP to hand us over to.
This was also when I was first turned on to Guinness. It was extremely cheap but I noticed that most of the Americans around us were drinking Bud. Normally this is not an issue except, we’re in France, Bud is now an IMPORT and about three or four times as much as you would expect to pay. If you like Bud, that’s cool. It may be a good beer, but I’m not sure it 8 bucks worth of good!
