I am a fourth-generation Texan, although my family is originally from Kent, England. (We love to grow things.) I worked my way through college and have a B.B.A. in Accounting. After working 2 years for an international corporation, I decided to change my direction and went to grad school to get a Master’s in Journalism. My research focus was on the effect of politicians and their issues on the media. I used my analytical and writing skills to work in the legal profession, helping people who find themselves in a difficult situation. I joined the NavySeals.com site for the exercise and nutrition information; motivational messages to and from a community; and to gain insight into the warrior culture. (I really put on some weight when I was taking care of my mother who eventually died from breast cancer.) Please feel free to write me. Do not be surprised if you get an unexpected response. I am, after all, a Texan.;-)
