Books are great. They keep me motivated. Just finished: "Lone Survivor" Reading now: "Rouge Warrior" Queued up: "The Warrior Elite" I have good memories of reading "Pointman", "Death in the Jungle" and "The Element of Surprise". It might me a good time to re-read some of these.

I realized that my office job is leading me down the path to insanity. In an attempt to restore meaning and purpose to my life I have decided to begin training for and pursuing my life long dream of becoming a special operations warrior.

Guns, knives, explosions and other cool stuff.

Staplers, staples, staple removers, leter openers, folders, paperclips, paper, computers, calculators, envelopes, copy machines, telephones, fax machines, desks, e-mail, office chairs. My job.

It is time to go home, now we do the next job.  Have to feed hay and sweet feed to animals.  That means I have to go get about 5 bales of hay from 1 barn and move it to the other, only have to do that once if I get enough. Need to check on the dogs and make sure they have enough feed otherwise I well need to get a 30 or 50 lb bag of feed this week. Once I get all that done I get to do housework, then cook supper if I want any.  Of course living on a farm I have quail to feed 1 roster and hen, 3 cats and other sundry animals.  Have a Great day thought I would check in on you to see how things are coming along.

Thats exactly the pamphlet I purchased along with my first three throwing knives. Your absolutly right about the literature on the subject being redundant. I have found it to be like anything else in life...trial & error. I just feel the weight of the blade, hold it at its apex and release without flicking the wrist. In a range of 15-25 ft...I can stick the target well. I just can't get use to throwing it by the handle. I will research what you have recommended. Niravana - what could have been...  take care and keep in touch.
