I can't wait to join either.  I wish I was ready to go now, but I know the more I do now the less I have to do later.  Talk to you later.  J

Yes I am qualifed in both Static Line and Free Fall and I have jumped HALO many times.  High Altitude Low Opening.  Something I never got the chance to partake was HAHO   (High Opening).  Used for long distance navigation but not necessarily really practical.  The movies make a bill deal about it.   Now all of the Navy's Statice Line and FF training is conduced near BUD/S, in fact it is performed about 3 miles from where I live.  I go there often to photograph jumpers.  The best information to get about the Army Green Berets is to contact a Special Ops recruiter that is GB qualified.  You should get straight answers BEFORE you join.  If not, then feel free to come to the Navy and see if you have what it takes to be a SEAL.   I can assure you that YOU WILL get 100 percent of yor questions answered BEFORE you join the NAVY-  just make sure to sign the SEAL contract BEFORE you join the Navy.  This will guarantee that you will go to BUDSs.  By the way, you must pass the pre-screen pt test for SEALS and the academic portion to qualify first.  I never said it was easy.  But I will tell you it is the most demanding job and most rewarding job I have ever done.  Do you have what it takes to TAKE THE CHALLENGE?  HooYah

A plank owner is a member of the FIRST crew in a Navy Command or ship.   It was orginally for ships but with the need to have shore based commands, they too share the tradition of naming the first crew assigned as PLANK OWNERS.     It is a real honor to be a Plank Owner.

Looks like you do alot of cardio also.  During BUDS we have 4 mile runs and have to be able to do it under 32 min at the start and down to 28 min in the end all in the sand.  I can do it in like 30 min now, but I have a long time to get it even lower.  I mostly just need to work on my pushups and pullups.  I want to make sure I am as fit as possible before I go in.
