Well V, you are no kid, and you know what is best for your body. I just wanted to say that most will advise dropping the weight lifting completely while you are preparing for BUD/s. The type of muscle you build from lifting is not necessarily beneficial to what you do in BUD/s and beyond. (although it does look so good...you know that part though, ha ha). Plus, you really don't want to hump any extra weight around during indoc, believe me.
My goodness BigV, you are a big guy. How tall are you? Do you plan to stop the weight lifting while getting ready for BUD/S? I know my son dropped lifting completely and concentrated on running and swimming and calisthenics during the 7 months he spent preparing for BUD/s. He's never gone back to lifting at all.
