I busted my knee at the end of season before our last couple Duels so I didn't go anywhere I think I could have gotten to Masters (tournament right before state)

I'm a 171 pounder I'm just going to go to a local JC and see from there what I want to do whether it be enlist when I'm done with college or apply to the academy and go that route

MMA is pretty badass. I havn't had any fights on tv or that matter, but I've had alot of fights in underground tournaments and stuff. Nothing professional or big. It's a tough sport, demands alot from the body. You interested in doing MMA or something? You should try it out once see how you like it, being a wrestler helps alot, your ground work should be better then most because of the wrestling background. Boxing and wrestling when I was younger helped me out when I started MMA.

I plan on goin straight out of high school. Im too eager to waste time in college. My main focuses are working out, keeping grades decent, and not getting into trouble.

Hey whats up? yeah boxing was going good, i had 20 fights. Then i got tendonitis in my wrist so i havn't been able to box for five months now. I dont know how long it will take to heal, but anyways how is wrestling going for you?

05/08/2008 19:14:36

That sounds pretty solid. Dude thats awesome, the seniors at my school just graduated yesterday. Im a junior so i'll graduate sometime next may.

Every night i've been running 4-5 miles, and im slowly lengthening the runs. Calisthenics:pushups, flutterkicks, russian crunches. And i lift weights at the Y just about every day.

I plan on joining straight after college. Or if i can't hang with the whole college deal, I'll drop out and join Navy, but the plan so far is finish college, then join the Navy then become a SEAL. I just hope it all works out. Yeah so thats the plan...so far. I'll check you later I have to go to work.

Arkansas is doing pretty good. We're going through some spring showers before the real heat of summer sets in. It'll be hard to PT in, but at least it's not cold. Few things suck as bad as PT'ing in cold weather.

That sounds pretty badass bro. To bad about the getting beat by one point. I know the best match of my entire life was on Guam, my senior year for the All-Island Championship match. The guy beat me once and I beat him once so it was straight hatred for each other. So anyways, I plan on joining the Navy after I finish college. What about you, when you planning on joining?

i made it to regionals my fresh year. sophomore year i bumped up 2 weight classes because the guy i replaced my fresh year was injured then came back and beat the hell out of me in wrestle offs. so i went no where that year because 140 was stacked in my district. 4 studs

Yeah, wrestling in Italy was pretty badass. The people there are insane with their training but great experience to visit and train with those guys. Guam has wrestling and they have the All-Island Tournament here, which is what the states call winning State well Guam is an island so yeah go figure. Right now I'm 4x All-Island Champion in my weight classes, so taking that is really taking State, so I qualified for Nationals went to Fargo last year, so my junior year, because I finally saved up enough of my own money to get there. I ended up messing up, going in cocky, and lost. Didn't end up placing but live in learn right. Just made me better for senior year, never want to feel that failure again. This summer I'll probably go 125lbs again, but I'm not sure cause of the whole college thing, it might get in the way of the tournament. I'm hoping I can go again this year, but it's unsure right now. What state do you wrestle out of, and how do you do over stateside?

05/02/2008 18:35:21

I'd prefer NOT to run on a track, after the 2nd mile i'd be boredshnockieless.

Theres some good running trails around me, but i dont know how long they are, my nightly run is only 2-3 miles, ive never looked for a trail that long, lol.

it has been a progressive thing with both my knees since my sophomore year and in that match my right one just gave up on me. it wasn't "injured" but it was done. pretty much all my injuries that i have had in wrestling and football caught up with me. i hyper extended it sophomore year and never really got i fix so it didn't heal right. my knee cap rubs so it hurts like a bitch when i would wrestle. and at the beginning of the year a strained the hell out of it. so i guess i blew it out

05/01/2008 19:11:33
What the hell? It changes the S-word to schnockie. Thats bullshnockie

05/01/2008 19:06:53
Damn that is a little far considering theshnockie mileage my car gets. Idk, we could meet up some time if you'd wanna do like an all-day thing. I plan on doin some long ass runs this summer if your up for it. My goal is to work my way up to a 14 mile run (the infamous 3rd phase BUD/s run).  I would try it now but i know im not in shape for thatshnockie yet.

I lived in florida for about 2 years. Military kid...right now I'm living on Guam. Been here the past 4 years. I went to Fargo, ND to wrestle nationals there but that was the only time I went back to the states to wrestle. When I was younger, I was wrestling from VA 'till about 8yrs old then moved to Italy wrestled over there then moved to FL wrestled there for the 2 and a half years maybe then made it to Guam. I've heard of the guy, but never wrestled him. Maybe I will one day.

05/25/7914 12:10:00
Hey man. Yeah i live in Troy illinois. If you dont know where that is, its in madison county, surrounded by collinsville, highland, edwardsville. You know where im talkin about?

Well right now my senior year I wrestled 125lbs and I dropped to 122lbs for the freestyle tournaments. My natural weight is anywhere from 130 to 135lbs, so I don't drop That much. College, I'm going to wrestle I'm just not sure where. I was going to attend Iowa State and try wrestling with them but money and yeah, so Iowa got cut out of my colleges. Right now I think I'm going to attend University of North Florida, I haven't checked out their wrestling but if they have wrestling, I'll be first in line waiting for my chance on those mats. But once college ends, SEALs is where I'll be heading. Well thanks for the comment bro, hope to talk again.
