Thank you to all my firends here on NSC that have been keeping me in their prayers and for all the get-well wishes. A BIG "THANK YOU!". Tuesday, July 15th I will undergo surgery to remove the galbladder. Hopefuly this will be the last surgery and I can start to get back to the road of good health. The best part of this galbladder ordeal is the fact that I have lost over 30 lbs (cause I really needed to lose the weight), but I don't recommend going through the same ordeal to loose the weight. I am close to 200 lbs and excited and motivated to get under the 200 mark soon. So, just a few more days to go and I will be on the road to complete recovery. Again, thank you for all the wonderful wishes for recovery. Sincerely, Lieutenant Commander, Amir Pishdad, SEAL, USN (Retired).
Hey Brother; Hoping that your health is improving and you're back on the water! I'm pretty sure you have a lot of people out here concerned about you, so a brief update would probably be appreciated by all your friends.
Hi Amir. Just wanted to stop by and let you know that I was thinking about you. I hope you are doing much better. Wayne and I are at our beach house this week. We will call you later this week just to chat for a while. Have a happy 4th. XOXO Marilyn
Just wanted to check and see how your doing? Hope your feeling better, and getting the rest you need to make a complete recovery. Give me a call when you feel up to it, would love to talk to you. ~TTYS~Kaleigh
Hi Amir. I was so happy to see that you left me a message. I'm so glad to know that you are doing a little better. I know you still have some hurdles to cross, but you are coming along. Like the SEAL that you are, hang in there my friend! I get so happy whenever Wayne gives me the latest update on you. We were very concerned for you but knew you would come through. I hope that by the time we are in SD in August that you are feeling yourself again so you and Terry and Wayne and I can go out and have a nice dinner and enjoy each other's company for a while, the boys can come too of course!! Well my dear friend, please write again when you get a chance and I hope to talk to you soon. I know you and Wayne talk very often, but I need to talk to you too!! Take care. XOXO Marilyn
Hi Amir! Yes I have been kept up-to-date on your health. I'm sorry that I haven't been in touch lately, been extremely busy with several things lately. Spent a week watching my 4 year old twin nephews, took a tumble and ended up on crutchces. Foot and ankle are feeling better though. I will try to give you a call one night this week. Say hello to Terry for me and we will chat soon. I have something to tell you but it will keep until you are feeling much better. Take Care of yourself and do what the Doctor tells you. It's Adam, I spoke to you today on the phone. Just wanted to let you know my SN here. Thanks again for taking the time to talk to me, especially considering your current condition. I'll be staying in touch.
Hello everyone @NSC from the VA Hospital in LaJolla CA. Well I have been here since May 29th and sorry if my messages have been full. I want to first thank the many that have phoned me and those that have sent cards. I thought my procedure was going to be a matter of in and out of the hospital with only a few days of being in the bed. Instead this ride has taken me from Pre-surgery to surgery to ICU and finnally back to Post surgery, Now I am in SCI (spinal Cord Injury) unit at this VA Hosptal. Hope my stay won't be took long, but this far it has lasted 16 days. A rough 16 days I might add. Sure am glad that i'm a Navy SEAL, cause I am not sure too many want to be in my shoes. I still have guarded health for at least another month.... or nothing too serious...it's just that my common bile duct (CBD) got torn in attempting to remove a painful galbladder stone that got stuck in the CBD. Ok enough of technnical terms, the bottom line is I have bad stuff going into my abdomen and it is still life threating. I very much appreciate all of the prayers and patience. I do plan to spend some time soon hosting questions and despensing my opinion. Till then, you all keep your chin up and focus on your goals. HooYah! frogman80

Hi Amir. Just stopping by to wish you a good holiday weekend. Are you involved in any festivities to honor fallen heroes on Memorial Day? I've been meaning to give you call, I miss talking to you. I've been traveling a lot for work so my schedule has been a little crazy. I'm looking forward to getting togehter with you again in August. Please stay in touch. Take care. Marilyn
HOOYAH!! just passing bye. You already know, fleet week coming over to NY. I cant wait. Just passing by, anything new with you? Did you find out anything from chief? Have a good week.
Hi Amir. Just dropping by to say Hello and let you know that I've been thinking about you. Though I know from Wayne that you are doing good. I've been traveling for work a lot lately. Presently I'm working on a project in Austin, TX. Went home for the weekend only and now I'm back again and won't be home until this coming weekend. I'm looking forward to getting the CD from you and seeing those pictures of our fabulous trip to Coronado. Most of all, looking forward to seeing you and your family again when we go to SD in July. Well drop me a line when you get a chance - I've missed you. Take care & TTYS. Marilyn
P.S. Do you know yet when you will be in Florida? Are you still planning on visiting the UDT Navy SEALs Museum? Let us know ok? You will have to find our bricks this time, maybe they will be near yours - though since we're not SEALs so we will probably be in the civilian section.
Hey Amir- Sorry I have been out of touch, just a bit busy with my new job. I will still be out in Cali soon, I will definitely give you a call and let you know when. You said you are signing off for awhile.....I hope everything is okay! Talk to you soon-Court
HOOYAH!! thanks for your help. ill see what he tells me. maybe it was a joke when he said it meant something else because i was the first one to yell out United states Navy. Hey just stopping by to say hi. Also I was wondering if you were going to be offering any tours soon. I get out of school june 11 and am able to come down to SD any time after that.
Can't wait for the pics. Say hello to your wife from Marilyn and I. Hope all is well and you are taking care of yourself. Keep up the good advice to the younger guys. AJ

Hi Amir. I hope you are doing well. I saw you stopped by my page. I've been thinking about you. I want to give you a call this week just to chat and catch up. I also want a copy of the picture of you and I at the restaurant in Coronado. Say hi to Terry and the boys for me. TTYS.

I rang you today but you were still asleep...darn time difference... I will catch up with you early next week. Take care and thank you. Say hello to Terry for me!
Thanks for some great answers! Can't say I am afraid of serious injuries, if it happens it happens and it could be anywhere, not just on the field. However, rugby hurts! My team mates are great at giving advice on how to ignore the natural reflect of running the opposite direction (that would be a sight!) get the adrenaline pumping and jump into it!At the end of the season I'm sure the fears will be gone. Will keep you updated on how we are doing!
Hi Amir. I know that Wayne has already sent you a message in your private mail. I just wanted to thank you again for your time and effort in making our trip to Coronado unforgettable. I enjoyed it immensely and was truly happy to visit the Base and spend time at the BUD/S quarters - I LOVED IT!! I was truly in my element! I enjoyed meeting everyone, specially you and your family. I look forward to getting together again as planned when we return to Coronado in August. Stay in touch! TTYS.
