I wanted you all to know that I will not be on the
forum very much anymore, it was taking way too
much of my time. I highly valued the friendships I
have made and the people I came to know and care
deeply about. I will be spending more time with my
wife and family. After all, those ARE the most
important things in life. You probably wont
remember many of the things i've said but
hopefully you WILL remember that I have CARED
about so many of you. Some of you are already in
Boot Camp and maybe already in bud/s. If you are,
I commend you and just know I believe in you,
those werent just words as you were training long
ago. For those of you I worked to get out of
trouble - STAY OUT OF TROUBLE! Think about the
things you are doing before you do them and life
will be much easier for you. Like i've said since
coming here to NavySEALS.com, the Navy is a great
adventure. And, each day is a gift. Serve your
Country Proudly and with Honor, many have gone
before you, will serve WITH you and will serve
AFTER you.
For the Record - NO, I was NOT a Navy SEAL. I was
a Radioman. I served during the Cold War long ago.
Take care of Yourselves and again, I am proud of
you! - Jim
