Meatloaf.

My tastes go from anything about the military to the mafia and vampires. I do prefer military books though since most of the reading I do is for research in my attempt to write my own fiction novel as well as research for hubby.

Way too many to list. But my top 10 would include Delta Force 1 & 2. Navy SEALs, Star Wars, The Godfather and Under Siege.

I've been married 10 years. I'm an amateur plane spotter and amateur photographer. When I'm not sitting listening to the air band radio or dashing outside to take photos then I'm in front of the PC researching stuff for hubby or just out of curiosity. I was born in Blackpool England and have been living in South Africa since 1979. I sleep during the day and stay up during the night. One day in the not too distant future I hope to make the USA my home. My heart is set on San Diego but I'll take anywhere. While I'm waiting patiently for the dream I'm making a list of places I want to visit and things I want to see. In case you're wondering. The love of warships started back in 1987 with a cartoon series called Robotech. The love of helicopters started with the TV series Airwolf. The love of the Navy SEALS started during the build up to the first Gulf War when I saw a picture of the Trident and fell in love with it. And the love of all things military , especially fighter aircraft started January 1991 when I watched the first Gulf War on TV. I love this website, it's the first place I check when I need to know something SEAL related. I first found this site in 1998 back when it looked different. 2008 was a mixed year. I finally got the dream after 21 years of seeing a real US Navy aircraft carrier. The USS Theodore Roosevelt. After nearly 6 years of dreaming and trying I finally got to own a SEAL T-shirt and it's all thanks to a certain friend on this site. She's the best. But I also had to experience the loss of my father. So far 2009 has been good. November 4th 2009 after 15 years of waiting I got to see a Los Angeles class submarine. The USS San Juan docked at Simon's Town naval base!

Helicopters, planes, warships, just about anything military, fast cars, fast bikes, men in uniform and a sense of humor.

Jealousy, gossiping and blatantly telling lies that could get someone hurt or in trouble.

Taking photographs at air shows, military events, the airport and anything that catches my eye. Usually at the air shows and military events I'm doing a "walk around" and taking side on photos of a plane, tank, truck, chopper, ship or whatever so that my hubby can do a profile drawing on the PC. I also enjoy reading, watching the news, writing and playing quizzes.

I was told yesterday by the gastroenterologist what it is and what I suspected was right.  She just doesn't know the extent other that there is something there and she won't know until the primary Doc tells her on Wednesday.  I have to take her there at 10 AM and then for a CT Scan on Thursday at the same time to make sure that it hasn't spread.

Right now I'm too busy getting trashed on my front porch...I am T-I-R-E-D!!!

One of these days I am gonna stop holding my tongue with a few of them.  They are in for a very rude awakening, that is for sure!

I managed to get 4 1/2 hours of sleep this morning and now I am out to take a car for an emissions test, not mine though.  Then I am back home to do all of my yard work today since tomorrow is garbage pick-up day. I think I may just be glad when winter gets here...it doesn't snow nearly as much as how quickly the damn grass grows! More laundry and housework...and the list goes on.

Well, my FAV DB didn't see it.  I was far too intoxicated to drive him back to his hotel so he cabbed it.  As a matter of fact, he wasn't done drinking for the night.  He met up with a buddy of his after he and I parted company.  I had to hang by the fountain drinking bottle after bottle of water until I was sober and could drive the rental back to my hotel.

It's waiting for a diagnosis that is driving me nuts more than the wait for the test and the transfusion to be done.  I need to know what we're dealing with here.

Between phone calls, emails and text messages I ready to turn the damn cell phone off completely!  These people have no patience and they do not listen to what info I am passing along to them.  They start talking amongst themselves and the info completely changes.  It's MADDENING I tell you...MADDENING!!!

It's 2 AM here and I am calling it a day since the next one starts in about 4 more hours...ttyl.

I don't have that many from my last trip.  And I haven't had the time to upload them into my 'puter.  There is one of the new fountain that I took the night I was smashed on my ass with my FAV DB...and I swear I had nothing to do with what was going on with the fountain...honestly!

I like to travel now and I'm making up for the 13 years that I didn't.

I will be spending the better part of my Friday sitting in the waiting area of the hospital while a test and a blood transfusion are completed.  I can hardly wait for that!
