Meatloaf.

My tastes go from anything about the military to the mafia and vampires. I do prefer military books though since most of the reading I do is for research in my attempt to write my own fiction novel as well as research for hubby.

Way too many to list. But my top 10 would include Delta Force 1 & 2. Navy SEALs, Star Wars, The Godfather and Under Siege.

I've been married 10 years. I'm an amateur plane spotter and amateur photographer. When I'm not sitting listening to the air band radio or dashing outside to take photos then I'm in front of the PC researching stuff for hubby or just out of curiosity. I was born in Blackpool England and have been living in South Africa since 1979. I sleep during the day and stay up during the night. One day in the not too distant future I hope to make the USA my home. My heart is set on San Diego but I'll take anywhere. While I'm waiting patiently for the dream I'm making a list of places I want to visit and things I want to see. In case you're wondering. The love of warships started back in 1987 with a cartoon series called Robotech. The love of helicopters started with the TV series Airwolf. The love of the Navy SEALS started during the build up to the first Gulf War when I saw a picture of the Trident and fell in love with it. And the love of all things military , especially fighter aircraft started January 1991 when I watched the first Gulf War on TV. I love this website, it's the first place I check when I need to know something SEAL related. I first found this site in 1998 back when it looked different. 2008 was a mixed year. I finally got the dream after 21 years of seeing a real US Navy aircraft carrier. The USS Theodore Roosevelt. After nearly 6 years of dreaming and trying I finally got to own a SEAL T-shirt and it's all thanks to a certain friend on this site. She's the best. But I also had to experience the loss of my father. So far 2009 has been good. November 4th 2009 after 15 years of waiting I got to see a Los Angeles class submarine. The USS San Juan docked at Simon's Town naval base!

Helicopters, planes, warships, just about anything military, fast cars, fast bikes, men in uniform and a sense of humor.

Jealousy, gossiping and blatantly telling lies that could get someone hurt or in trouble.

Taking photographs at air shows, military events, the airport and anything that catches my eye. Usually at the air shows and military events I'm doing a "walk around" and taking side on photos of a plane, tank, truck, chopper, ship or whatever so that my hubby can do a profile drawing on the PC. I also enjoy reading, watching the news, writing and playing quizzes.

Yeah I just saw the pics, they look amazing! OMG you just said 86 days and that made me freak out even more until I realized the comp isn't till the end of Feb so I can add an extra 25 days. Still freaky though. I might need a beta reader, would you be up for it? Just an idea, let me know.

Dave was a good guy but left us too young at 51.  We tossed back a few in his memory though and that's a good thing.

I am a big support of BCA...I have 2 extended family members who are survivors and 1 who lost her battle many years ago.  Early detection is the key...you gotta get squished!

Sleep in large doses is highly overrated and not something that I get anymore...tossing and turning after 3 to 4 hours is pretty much the norm.

Hey!!!  I like my lips!  Weekend was so/so...last night was good when a group of us from the good old days met up to toast a few to one of our friends who passed away at a very early age.

Sleep in large doses would be good though!
