| ABOUT ME |
I've been in the Navy since 2006 and I am loving
life. I was out at BUD/S in 2007, classed up with
265 and washed out in 1st Phase before Hell Week.
I came in with a BS from a good college and
thought I knew a thing or two, but I didn't. Had a
fiancee who dumped me right before my first night
evolution and being the stupid kid I was I thought
it was the end of the world. I let that and my own
mental weakness keep me from finishing what I came
in to do on my first shot at joining the Teams.
I'm prepping for my next go presently.
I am big on being humble and I firmly believe that
talking gets you no where. Those that have read a
few of my posts know that I absolutely despise
cocky behavior and big talk. I've been around a
bit over the last 4 years working with specwar,
SF, MARSOC etc and if there is anything that I've
taken away from my time with them it's that real
tough guys never talk about how 'mentally' or
physically tough they are. Children talk like that
and I've seen 40 year-old 'men' running around in
ACU's with an M4 talking like little kids.
Talk is cheap. Shut your mouth, do something and
then don't waste time talking about how great what
you did was - move on to the next thing.
