Having finished "Lone Survivor" by Marcus Luttrell I am reading "The Warrior Elite" by Dick Couch. * "The Once & Future King" by T.H. White is the most light-hearted Arthurian legend. (Merlin's a "Pissa'") * "Broca's Brain - Ruminations on the Romance of Science" is thorougly readable, "Cosmos" made the night sky accessible and "Demon-Haunted World" is a great antidote to mysticism and conspiracy all by the late Carl Sagan * "2001" & "2010" by A. C. Clarke ("2021" was just too much!) * "The Hobbit" & "The Ring Trilogy" by J.R.R. Tolkien * The Tragedies of Sophocles (Hey, life's a tragedy) * "Longitude", and I can recommend "Galileo's Daughter" by Dava Sobel - It has a great ending! * The poems of Robert Frost (read "The Star Splitter") and non-fiction.
