Hiya A! Thanks for the update, appreciate! Great news on the job and good luck jumping through those hoops...you'll do just fine.
Things are hectic on my end...sorting through things and packing daily. Can't wait to get the hell out of Dodge as they say. Other than that it's nothing more than the SSDD.
Hey A...been a while since I've seen you around these parts! The last 2.5 months has been loaded with ups and downs...stress is off the charts but I'm still rockin' and rollin'.
How's things with you and yours? And, you have a great weekend too!
Things are going so/so. She got a little bit of "in your face" from me yesterday about her non eating habits. If she wants to avoid the "ugliness" of me totally snapping she will start eating...the choice is now up to her. It worked late yesterday and all day today so we will see if she keeps it up or not.
Haha...you're welcome! I think if I walked into my church the walls would cave in. I have the Nuns that come to give my Mom communion and the last one who was here was shocked when she saw several of my bras and panties laying on towels on the living room floor drying...oopsie! I need to get back to cleaning my living and dining rooms and check on my stuffed pork roast in the oven that is slow roasting. Don't know why I made it...there are some people in my household who refuse to eat regardless of what I make...favorites or not...sucks! TTYL...have a good week!
{whispering voice} I'm trying to keep it down since you're busy sleeping the day away. Just out having b-fast then off for a few errands and back home to clean...never seems to end. Have a great weekend.
No kidding...the road is know to ice over quickly seeing how there is a creek that runs under the road and into the water treatment facility right where he took out the street light...he car was totalled...dumbass!
I am headed back outside to blow the additional inches that fell overnight...got the PT Nurse here at 11:30 and then I'm out for a few hours for some pampering!
The ones that say they reduce red eye contain a medication and it actually restricts the blood vessels in your eyeballs...not good for that to happen. I only have dry eye and need to use drops to moisturize them so they don't tear at the worst possible times.
We are getting hammered here with snow...about 8 inches so far and it is still coming down. I saw some dumbass take out a street light early and it was on a street that is known to freez up...what a TOOL!
I actually got off cheap since it was only one lense that had to be replaced...would have doubled if it was both. And I apparently have "dry" eyes so I have to use drops up to 4 times per day...good thing I got samples but they are also OTC. I was told to stay away from anything that removed "red eyes"...not good for the eyeballs.
We're under a Winter Storm Warning here. They are calling for up to 10 inches of snow between tonight and late Friday afternoon. Then we'll get hit with northerly winds late Friday into Saturday; which means the snow will start to blow and drift and the wind chill air temps will be between 15 to 20 below zero...BRRRR! Figures since I was supposed to hook up with the ladies on Friday night...I'll still go cuz I'm a TROOPA!
They are entertaining, that is for sure and I absolutely LOVE them! If I'm having a bad day all I have to do is pop over to see them and I am LOL at what they say. I was told yesterday that I most likely won't need bi-focals for another 10 years...whew! Only need to have the RX upped in the right lense and I knew that eye was getting worse. Cost me a bloody fortune though...exam was 50 and I had to have one set completely replaced due to scratches from all of the dust due to the bathroom remodel and then 2 other frames the right lense had to be changed...that was $336. I still have 3 more pairs of glasses but I don't think I'll be changing out the right lenses any time soon.
It was all for the kids last night but the adults enjoyed it as well. I can't believe the things that come out of the nearly 6 year old twin boys mouths. Although I'm not all that fond of them giving me the "whatever" line. The other line last night was "Tell it to the judge, Pinky!" Guess you either love or despise Sponge Bob.
I have to get a move on here...eye exam at 11 AM...let's hope I don't need bi-focals...yikes!
Funny stuff there A. Hard to believe that the first decade of Y2K has already flown by...hopefully the 2nd decade will be better than the first. Gotta fly as I have some stuff to do around the house today. I'm having the family over tomorrow since we had to put Christmas off until Mom was out of the hospital.
I saw all of that on the news and then switched over to the weather channel. We got slammed last year during December but most of what fell the other day has melted. It's been snow, ran, sleet, ice and more rain here. Currently it's 40 degrees, the sun is out and the rain has stopped. I have huge chunks of snow falling off the roof...with my luck, I'll walk out of the house today and have a chunk land right on top of my head! It's supposed to get colder and snow here tonight...never a dull moment weather wise in Chi Town!
Bahahahaha...you are funny! I do not leave the house on New Year's Eve...amature night! And, I prefer to be safe and sound in my house...although some D-runkin' d-bag could always drive right into it I suppose!
Glad to see that you re-surfaced here. Excellent news on the lunch and new job...whoo hoo is right! Surgery was Tuesday...doing as well as can be expected but a very difficult patient. Too much drama rama with the peeps she used to work with...can't get a damn thing they are told straight so the phone rings off the wall with lots of misinformation...not something I have extra time for.
Finally got the tree in the house and ran out of lights. Why is it that the strands all worked last December but this year on 4 strands only half of them would light? Ran out to 3 stores late last night to get more and that was a bust. Need to head out shortly to get more so I can finish it today.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours!
I did that deliberately and I'm not about to say where all can see...HA! So, did you manage to have lunch with the new squeeze today? I spend my morning in The Loop (downtown Chi Town)...very interesting morning. I'll have to shoot you a PM with the particulars.
Surgery is 100% confirmed...no way around it...gotta happen. Yep, one entire month away...it will be HEAVEN! I think I may sleep the entire time!!!
Let's see...I pretty much spend my days and weeks running my Mom back and forth to treatments and to any one of 5 specialists. The portion of treatments she is on right now will end on either the 28th of this month or the 4th of next. Then there is a 6 to 8 week recovery period and then she will need to have surgery. Once this is all over and done with, I am throwing a huge party and then going away for an entire month!
Good luck on that paper...I do not miss that stuff at all! Awww, that's great that you have a new guy...he'd better be treating you well...or else!
Gotta fly...got cleaning to get done, washing to do, laundry to fold and on and on it goes!
Bahahahaha...you are funny! That is not the word that comes to most people's minds when they set their sites on me these days...more like a train wreck! I am running around like crazy these days and can't seem to get anything done...little sleep. If it wasn't for large amounts of caffeine...I'd be doing face plants all over the place!
How was your summer and being a bum? Back to the regular daily grind of school again?
You get a pass this time and only because I know that feeling since I upgraded my celli at the end of July. I am still trying to get the hang of all these new features. The run was long, interesting and not spectator friendly. I spent at least 5 hours in the car that day with Kaleigh going in circles due to all the detours...it was c-r-a-z-y! Enjoy the last few days of bumhood...your one class sounds interesting to say the least.
It's nothing more that the SSDD with me cookie! You may want to have a looksy at the boards...lots of interesting things there to read! Another rash of weeds that had to be yanked by the roots...I was happy to do it! WHOO HOO on the last 12 days...enjoy the time off and see if you can make it to SD for the Rock N Roll Marathon!
I can definitely understand the "burnout". Had that after working in Corporate America for 28 years. I'm going to be looking into another career path soon. I've got a bit of an "itch" so to speak and I want to check it out before I make a decision. It's getting a little boring with the same old same old day in and day out. Time to try something new.
I absolutely loved it when my little bro was totally smitten...we all referred to her as "The Girl"!
All is well now...a bit of pain every now and then. I will be checking in with the Doc once I'm back home. How's things going in your neck 'o the woods?
Ya its pretty bad ass haha ya the cool thing is the majority of people i tak to also want to be a SEAL and thats so cool cause out of the 10 schools ive been to i only found one other person whos wanted to be a SEAL but they didnt like wat i told them about BUD/S i told them that wen ur in BUD/S u have to swim all the time in the ocean and the dude said that he didnt mind swimin in the ocean but he doesnt want to do more than 2 miles so i told him "WELL if u wana wimpout theres always the Rangers" hahahahaha But im like the only one at my whole hs that wants and is gona be a SEAL haha
Had a minor setback the last few days but it is being dealt with. The only bad part is that I'm traveling this week. No worries tough. Other than that, not too much else is new with me...pretty much the SSDD!!!
