Not doin to bad, been real busy moving out of the "hood" hahaha, trying to concentrate on training, but having two jobs has been zapping me a bit, but still pullin through. Nothing like working 12 to 14hrs a day and then coming home to train for another two! But anything thats worth having you have to work hard for right?
Hey Courtenay, haven't been active for a while. Just wanted to say hi. The pictures of your puppies reminded me of my own. I miss my dog (its been 5yr since he died). His name was Gonzo, half german sheapard half colly. If you've ever seen the movie Equilibrium (Christian Bale) where he saves that one dog....it looked just like mine did. I also found him in an alley in Chicago all beaten up and couldn't let him go after that. Give your pups a treat for me ...take care.
Hello. I saw that you visited my site and wanted to come by and introduce myself. I have been "lurking" I guess that is the term. I have not been actively posting. Just checking everything out. I thought I read somewhere that you were going to get some boots or break some in? Am I correct or do I have you confused with someone else? Best wishes. Dan
So far things are just peachy. Taking the summer off before I head back to school in the fall. I'll be checking out two colleges soon and then I will make my decision as to which one to go to. Just a short 6 month course to get a degree in what I'm pursuing and then a few food prep courses. Hope things on your end are going well for you and your family.
Hi, sorry to be lurking around. I just usually check out who's visiting who and I end up clicking on everybody's page. I've got a 1 yr. old German Shepherd so I thought your dog pics were cool. And of course I think it's cool your son is a Navy SEAL. I know you're a proud mom. Talk to ya later.
Roger that, and I just wanna give a big HOOYAH, out to your son. Ive been training for the last year for BUD/s, (got bored being a mechanic) and hope to join him
HOOYAH!! Hey courteney i had so much fun. I went to fleet week and talked to the same SEAL as last year. I asked him if he remembered me, he didnt. I didnt expect him to remember me anyways. We started talking for a while. I got to meet other SEALs and deppers who are getting ready to ship out for BUD/S. I went inside the Mark V, and talked to a pouple of SWCC's. It was fun. i told them that i am also a depper getting ready to leave for decmber. HOOYAH!
Hey Court.. I haven't heard from you in a while and before I log off for a short period I just wanted to stop and say HI! HI! . Hoep you are having one terrific weekend!
Hi, I'm ok, my knee is getting better slowly. I hope your enjoying your new job. I've ended up taking two writing courses this month and I've bit off more than I can deal with. Have a great day.
Hey Courtenay! How have you been?Just stopping by to report a little news, our son Brody Aaden Maynard was born on April 17th,2008 at 8:43 PM!Also,I interviewed at the fire department last week for a full-time position and was hired as a firefighter/EMT.
That pretty much sums it up! Actually it sums up most things, doesn't it?
I was reading through the posts on NSW and even though there are thousands of members, it seems that the same dozen or so people keep popping up. In actuality, it seems that this is a fairly small community.
I am working the graveyard shift (1800-0430) for the next month and am bored out of my mind!
I just found out the my old unit is getting the call again and leaving in a month and a half. Not going with them is going to be a hard pill to swallow.
Thank you for the luck and I will do my best to live up to your words!
What is strange is that I wanted to be a Chief. When this whole commissioning thing started, I was going to respectfully decline. When the Chiefs in my unit found out about my intentions, they took me into a room and told me if they hear that I declined a commission, they would kick my....use your imagination.
