Hi Shar, Happy Veteran's Day. My Seabee buddies and I marched in our town's Veteran's Day parade. We put together a float with a 60 by 60 inch Seabee painted on corrugated metal. We spoke at schools also.
this is certainly an interesting theory you have going for you. out of repect for pictures of breasts everywhere i shall give this theory its due consideration
Hells yea we're still going!! Mom told me to wait til she got Christmas over with and she'd get my ticket and hotel bought. I'm going home this Wed-Sunday so maybe I'll know more after meeting up with the rest of the gang going.
My god what a game! I was so scared at half time but no reason to be. The Tide ROLLED!!
Sorry Doodle its been a crazy busy week. I am trying you right now, I will be up until the Toronto game is over. Economy is teasing me because they are actually beating Detroit going into the third.
Yeah I can definitely sympathize with all the dust issues. I'm a clean freak at the best of times and renovating drove me nuts!
I'm looking forward to next week my two little sisters are coming to visit! I haven't seen them in six long months we're going to have a blast and probably way too much to drink
She's conclusive proof that big is beautiful! Just posted 2 pics in the gallery. Still working on the others, have to take a break to go and wish my sister happy birthday. Also hope this link works, it's to a website where hubby posted some of my pictures.
Hi Shar!! Just wanted to share with you! THE USS SAN JUAN IS HERE! I got to see her dock and she is just magnificent! She is so big compared to the 2 subs we have!
Well I haven't been without a gf or wife for quite sometime so I'm really bachelor'n it these days. Gotta say I don't have mind it...ya know the person on survivor that can catch/cook food always hangs around.
And with this economy....glad I can catch and cook....haha!
Hey Shar. Its impossible to keep things clean while there's remodeling going on. We did it for three years. My only advice is to keep all the doors closed to the rooms not being renovated so you don't track dust throughout the house.
As for us, we're loving our house and our new life, it was exactly what we needed for a change of pace. I hope things calm down for you, you sound way too busy.
I agree on the sleep thing. I can be up and ready to go after only 3 hours some days and on other days I need a cup of coffee and a shower to get me to wake up after 8 hours. One of my problems when it comes to sleeping is that I can control my dreams, start them, stop them, plan them, change them, so my mind isn't actually sleeping and my brain doesn't rest as it should. The other problem is hubby's snoring. I cannot sleep through snoring. Thank goodness for the MP3 player, but the down side there is that when the music stops I wake up. I've learnt to change the battery in my sleep as well as changing volume and skipping songs. I also tend to sleep light because of the cats. It's kind of like a mother with a baby, I wake up if one of the cats makes a noise. I would love it if I could sleep during the day peacefully, but everyone around me makes a noise. I'm a night time person. "Carpe Noctem"
p.s. 19 1/2 hours to go to the arrival of the USS San Juan.
Been busy here, went to a romance writers meeting on Saturday and nearly kicked another woman's ass when she informed me that women SEALs did exist and that GI Jane was based on a true story. I was so mad at her because as a romantic suspense writer she should have done research on the male characters she creates. People like her are the exact reason why I throw away most romantic suspense books in disgust.
Anyway now that my rant is over and I got it off my chest I hope you have a great day.
I'm sorry to hear about the friend. I think it always hurts more when the person is young and there were still many years ahead of them.
Your lips avatar is nice and it always stands out but you've kind of spoilt us in October. You've been very creative.
Your changing avatar also did some good. Each morning when I checked to see what it was I found that when I went shopping I was looking out for the ladies with their collection tins and also the products being sold in support of breast cancer awareness. Your avatars kept the issue on my mind every day. I would even smile and greet complete strangers in the shops because I'd notice they were wearing the pink ribbon and I knew what it stood for.
You can have my sleep hours too. I'm just too excited to sleep tonight or tomorrow night. Hubby says I have to so he's taken away the filter coffee and the coke.
sup db....happy moanday! Had a good sunday funday....watched football all day! had mimosas.....made breakfast for everyone....damn good times! Hope all is well!
I'm happy to see the change of avatar. I had a strange feeling of disappointment when I saw the lips were back yesterday. Your avatars are entertaining, it's fun waiting to see what the next one will be.
Have a good Monday and week. I've got 48 hours to go.
Hey HEY HEY...while I certainly have no objection to your standard avatar, what happened to the "upgraded" avatars you were using?!? Don't tell me that you ditched them because of some arbitrary date on a calendar! I propose that EVERY month should be Breast Awareness Month!
