Took a cruise down the Strand yesterday about Noon...it was a perfect day for that. Then off to run several errands and pick up some essentials. Still unpacking and getting things in order. I am super tired but loving it all!

Sorry to hear that...wanna trade? I've been dealing with someone who refuses to eat regardless of what is made and severe depression...it is beyond frustrating at this point. Getting tired of cooking just to throw it all in the garbage. That is the 4 Points I was looking at. I stayed at the one in Meza when I was there last March. It's now looking like I'll be back in SD sometime in late February. I really, really, really need to get out of Shitville, IL!
HAPPY NEW YEAR! I was checking out a trip to your area...how's the Four Points by Sheraton in your neck of the woods? There were 2 others as well...one I believe is Cottonwood and I can't recall the other one at the moment. Must be my old age!
She had a setback early yesterday morning which led to another CT Scan. It shows there is a small obstruction and she won't be coming home until it has cleared either on its own or through surgery. Her surgeon believes that with an NG tube in place it should take care of it and more surgery won't be necessary. So, Christmas is on hold until she's back home and feeling up to it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that she'll be released by New Year's Eve. I can't wait for this year to be OVER...the last 4 months have totally SUCKED!

Merry Christmas to you and your family too! I will be at home on Christmas Eve and Day as well. It will be a much smaller gathering this year. Everything did go well and so far all of the pathology reports have come back positive. We're still waiting on one more although we don't know what it's about. The great news is that it didn't spread to any other organs and the same should hold true on the lymph nodes. With a little luck, I'll be bringing her home today! Yesterday would have been much better since it was her birthday but she's dealing with it all.
I have some tentative trips planned already. I believe I'll be there for sure in June for the SD Rock N Roll Marathon again and maybe February, March or April. And, I may come out your way before I head back to SD. I'll keep you in the know!
I need an extension on the reply. Didn't get home until Midnight from the ER. Had to take care of some other business and now I need a vicodin for the pain and then off to bed. I managed to break my freakin' elbow and have been walking around for 11 days with it. I will catch up with you on the PM tomorrow after I get squared away with the Ortho.
I have been a travelin' fool lately. Finally home for one week straight and it was busy as could be. Had a series of storms blow through my area last week and now it is hot and humid. Took a trip into The Loop today for a small spending spree! It was a mess since they are preparing for the Taste of Chicago that starts the 25th and runs through the 5th of July...I think! What has been happening in your neck o the woods? Haven't seen you online in what seems like forever!
