Hi, start of another season. Unfortunately I did not see the game and can only read the reviews. Five turnovers??? Fans are already complaining about Mike Nolan after four years, but they have to give it more time. Three sacks is impressive. Smith is out with a game ending injury? What was the injury? All I heard on the news and my wife was about Brady and his season ending injury.
Hi! It was nice to hear from you again. I know how busy life can be so I do appreciate you stopping by. Well, I totally get that you "really love" watching Jason play, he's definitely eye candy and elevates that drool factor to another level. The Dolphins should have never let him go, but then again, the Dolphins don't seem to make a lot of smart moves. Yesterday's game was interesting. I was happy for Favre as he soared in his debut with the Jets, though I kinda felt bad for Pennington too. He must have felt like sh** yesterday. Not a good way to start the season. Well, they're not my team so it doesn't affect me either way, just makes interesting football. I'm sorry the 49ers didn't do so well. Needless to say, my husband was devastated. Like you, he's a 49'ers fanatic. He's also like you in that he thinks Montana is the greatest quarterback ever. I'm a fan, just not a huge fan like the two of you. Though I do believe their legacy is amazing and yeah, Montana is the ultimate Quarterback. I liked Young, but he was no Montana. Who really is?? Speaking of QB, my main man was hurt yesterday half way through the first quarter, I'm sure you know. I just heard at half-time in tonight's Green Bay game that he will be out for the season. I could just weep! It won't be the same for me to watch football with no Brady, but they are still my team so I gotta keep the faith. I would hate to be in Matt Cassal's shoes, he's gonna feel a lot of pressure to perform and you know Belichick is going to hound him! He did okay yesterday, not great, just okay. I just can't imagine the Pats without Brady. I'm upset with all the mean blogs out there on Brady. Fan or not, who the hell is happy to see someone get hurt like that?!! I felt bad for the Chief's Bernie Pollard, he must have felt awful about it too. They didn't televise the game locally here in South Florida but I was keeping my eyes on the Patriots and kept looking at NFL.com all afternoon. Really, I'm so devastated that I know this season won't be the same for me without Brady, no matter what the outcome. My other two teams, the Cowboys and the Colts did good so there was a little happiness in my weeked!
Well please stay in touch and I hope the Halloween party you are hosting is a great success. You still got a few weeks to plan it carefully. I hope your team has a good victory against Seattle on the 14th. I will be thinking about you! Take care. TTYS. Marilyn
Hey! Thanks for your response. It was nice to hear from you again. You are right, this season with all the players traded and some new coaches does promise to be an exciting season. Your team's first game is a home game for them on 9/7 against the Arizona Cardinals - they should ace it! My team's first game is also on 9/7 and also a home game vs Kansas City Chiefs. I just can't wait to see Brady in action again! It can't come soon enough. What are your thoughts on the major changes with the Dolphins? I'm not a Miami fan (though I live here!), but I'm curious with all the hype if they will do better this season. I think they were foolish to let Jason Taylor go. What do you think? Hope all is ok. TTYS. Marilyn
Hi there! It was good to hear from you too. I'm glad you liked the pictures I posted in the Gallery. It was an awesome vacation. I just love Hawaii. You changed your avatar again, I like it! You always have awesome avatar's, they're catchy! Are you ready for football?? I CAN'T WAIT for the season to just start already!! I am SO looking forward to indulging my addiction. Maybe this will be the year my team makes the Super Bowl! They came so close last year - they should get it this season! Anyway, thanks for stopping by and I hope to hear from you again soon. Take Care. Marilyn
Tired of hearing about Favre and now all the hype about the Miami Wonderboy Pennington. I saw the rain game with Philly and McNab didn't look all that great, but it is still early him coming back from the injuries. Now I see in the paper that I can only see SF on TV possibly 3 times and one of the is against Miami. Oh well.....Talk to you soon. Wayne (AJ)
Hey girl, sorry I haven't been in touch in a while, things have been pretty crazy, doing paperwork to get back in the Army and all,it's more paper work than I remember!Hope all's well with you.
O'Sullivan as quarterback and from what I read the interception was not as bad as the announcers made it. I did not know "he played under Martz in Detroit and it's probably safe to say he knows Martz's offense the best", until I read it. We will see or in my case hear about it as I can't see many 49ers games down here. Hope all is well. AJ
Hi; Got your message and have been watching the Brett Favre saga also. Hope the 49er's can have a good season. Will be interesting to see what Martz does with Hill as he seems to be the favorite. I don't think we will ever see careers like Young and Montana as the players are not with the same team for their careers.
hi, hello from germany mike, i see that you have good movies,i have same at DVD, and i have a you know Apocalypse now with marlon brando, i have the Lp in Orginal, and the film as DVD.
Hello, I thought I would come by. I looked at your movie selection. I, too, have an appreciation for classic movies. One I would suggest for you is "Heaven Knows, Mr. Allison" with Robert Mitchum and Deborah Kerr, directed by John Huston. Mitchum is a Marine and Kerr is a nun marooned on an island held by the Japanese during WWII.--w/regards, Dan18
PS Still a 49 fan like me? Know anything about Alex Smith for quarterback or will they stick with Hill again? Oh how I long for Montana and Young again....AJ
Hi! Glad to hear from you again. Don't worry about getting back to me promptly. I know how busy it is. As long as we stay in touch with each other we're okay. I'm actually at the Austin Airport waiting for a flight home, so it's been pretty hectic for me too. Glad you got a glimpse of that magazine I told you about. I agree with you, the girls do resemble their parents. The youngest one is her father (but with hair) and of course more feminine. What a good looking bunch is all I can say. Well please stay in touch and take care. TTYS. Marilyn
Hi. I love to spin. When you first learn to spin you get really dizzy but the more you practice the less you get dizzy. I have got my two foot spin, one foot spin, and nearly have my back spin and sit spin. Not to bad for someone who has learned as an adult.
My favorite jets are the F14 tomcats and F22 raptors.
Hi! Yeah, your avatar lady does look like Demi Moore. You know I think she is so, so beautiful. She always looks great - and that hunk she married! What a gorgeous couple. Did you happen to see the spread on her and her daughters on last months issue of Harper's Bazaar magazine? I've devour fashion magazines, I read them, study them - well I love fashion so I stay current with that stuff, but the photography of Demi and her girls was by far the most beautiful layout I have seen in years. Just thought I'd share that with you. Stay in touch okay. You have a great week too. TTYS.
Hi! Thank you so much for your lovely anniversary message. We really appreciate your good thoughts. What a warm and beautiful message. By the way, I love your new avatar - pretty racy and sexy, but your previous one was also great. You can pick them! Please stay in touch okay. TTYS. Marilyn
Stopped by to say HI and see how things are going. Hope all is well with you and have a great Monday. All is well over here. Been busy with spring here. Softball is in full gear and so is my list of things to do. John
Thanks for all that. Just today someone was telling me I'm not good enough for the SEALs. But guess what? He's not even prepared for his career. GOod luck with all you do, thanks again.
Apache, Thanks and I hope you have a good weekend as well. Where are you located in So CA? Lots of hobbies. I practiced Karate (Shito Ryu) and Aikido for may years. Ran 5 miles a day now mostly walk it.
If only some of these players didn't have to retire! Although, I must say, Payton and Eli Manning have shown some of the same drive that the old schoolers had, including Unitas, Boomer (Bengals), Marino (Dolphins), and let's not forget those '72 Dolphins who some how happen to be the only team with the Recipe for an UN-defeated season! Hat's off to them! Patriots almost had that perfect season but came up short by ONE game - the most important game - SUPER BOWL...... :)
