Is 31 to old or just more experienced, im 31 and im in chage of a sniper section in the army but i need more excitement in my life i wanna be a seal what do you think the navy will say? i ETS in june of 2010

28 is the cutoff...but that can be extended based on your active duty time.  So, if you've been in the Army for 8 years, the cutoff should extend to 36.  You'll likely still need a waiver and have to absolutely ace the PST.

You can ask your question in the SEAL/SWCC Training Requirements and Prep forum.  All threads/posts in that forum go into a moderated queue before they appear on the board.  Once a Moderator or Administrator has read it, it would be approved.  Just make sure that you read the ROE and make you Introduction Post first.  Good Luck! ~Shar
