Sea Cadets

i was looking for a way to get involved in the navy and i come across a link and its the sea cadet corps. Alot of well ranked people have gone through this program and it seems good. Has anyone out there done this program and if so could you please message or email me anytime. i am new to this site so i would greatly appreciate it.

My son was a Sea Cadet for two years prior to joining the Navy.  They met one weekend a month for drills during the school year.  The first summer he did a two week boot camp in Norfolk, VA, and the second year he did an advanced EOD training there for three weeks.  He got a lot out of the program and was able to enlist as an E-3.  If there is a unit close to you I definitely recommend it.  My son is now in Phase 3 of BUD/S and loves the Navy.
