I've watched a lot of different videos about it and read quite a few reviews. From what i've seen and read a lot of the guys that have gone have either realized that they needed to train a lot harder or realized that they didn't have the desire to push themselves as far as they thought they would. I've never been but if you've got the time and the money to do it then i would definitely go if i were you. When are you planning on trying to enlist? Oh and if you haven't already, read "lone survivor" it's an awesome book and gives you some insight.
Antiono, any training or experience that you can participate that will test your mind, body and soul can be well worth the undertaking IF you approach the challenge as an opportunity. The opportunity for you to put your best effort forward, to test your endurance, character and leadership, and an opportunity that not only tests your individual limits, but also tests your ability to function in a TEAM, is in my opinion, well worth the attendance. Not to mention that the SEAL Experience also provides you with the opportunity to handle some of the equipment that SEALs use everyday, the opportunity to experience parachuting, ride in a helochopter, operate with small boats....etc,,, can provide you with greater certainty the oportunity to ask yourself if you really want to do this? Do you want to do what those guys are doing? Can you see yourself doing this job?
Hell, that is what makes this job not like a job, but like the most awesome experience in the world. You bet I would do it. But then again, I have done the real thing and if I didnt have a spinal cord injury, I would challenge the SEAL Challenge course just to renew my self confidence and quite frankly, to experience the thrill of a lifetime again, even if it is just a about a week long. HooYah!
