Socialism at NSW
DATE: 03/21/168 12:41:57 / MOOD: none, or other

An imaginary experiment on an imaginary class ...  This BUD/s class will undertake an experiment and be the first class to complete BUD/s under the training of Socialism. There will be no overachieving or underachieving in the class. This class will be the great equalizer class.

All timed evolutions are averaged ... therefore all candidates will receive the same scores...this method will be utilized as well for all water evolutions...therefor, no one will fail nor excell.

After the first evolutions are scored and averaged, all of the candidates got a "B". The candidates who gave it their all and put out the maximum effort...were ticked off. The candidates who slacked off and put forth little effort...decided this was not so bad. Further into the training those candidates who put forth little effort, had done even less. The candidates who put out and gave their all decided they would like a less stressful ride as well...so they slacked off and put forth "Less than their best". The second round of evolutions are scored and averaged, all of the candidates got a "D" or a poor score. No one was happy. When the third set of evolutions came around the class average was an "F" ...failure.

In subsequent evolutions the scores never increased as bickering, blame, name calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would work hard and put out for the benefit of the TEAM. At the end of BUD/s they had all failed, to their great surprise...and their instructor informed the class that Socialism would also ultimately fail...because when the reward is great, the effort to suceed is great; but when Government takes all the reward away; no one will try or want to succeed.

Could not be any Simpler than that...

"The problem with Socialism is that you eventually run out of other peoples money"
