Hi! Found your message. I hardly ever go in the Forum and you can imagine my surprise when I did today and saw your message. I only went in to vote on that T-Shirt threat from Shar and wow saw a message from you! Well I'm doing good. I was thinking about you when Ike was headed to TX. Thanks God that it bypassed you. We were pretty nervous here too. You never know what path those things will take. That's just great that you are volunteering in the post-Ike efforts. I would love to do something like that, but truthfully, I have so many projects that I'm working on currently that I would not be able to take any time off. My boss would just die if I told her I'm taking off for awhile even for a good cause. I hope you do get to hear soon if they can use you in Galveston. I imagine so from the horrible images I've seen on TV.
You know I meant to tell you that I spent a lot of time in Austin this year. I was there for weeks on a off since April. I designed a luxury building there, it's called "The Monarch". That's one of my projects. Don't know if you are familiar with it, but living in Austin you must have seen it, it's one of the tallest towers in that area. By the way, I love Austin. That is one hip and happening city and it's beautiful too. I loved the warehouse district and all the cool bars and restaurants. My team and I went to quite a few awesome places when we were there. Oh, and I brought beautiful cowboy boots at a place called "Cowboy Cool". The name fits the shop, they got the coolest stuff. I haven't worn my boots yet, it's still too hot in Florida for boots, but I will. I always wanted real cowboy boots and finally got them. I'll wear them with skinny jeans tucked inside. I also got some cool T-shirts and dresses in that area that's filled with funky little shops. In our off time, we went into all these cool little boutiques that had the most unusual and amazing things. Like finding little treasures. The next time I go to Austin I'm buying a Stetson. That's the plan. You can tell I love to shop huh?
I haven't read any good SEAL books lately. I need to buy the new Suz Brockmann book, the next one in the TS Series and next month Marliss Melton's new SEAL series book will be out, so I've preordered it from Amazon. Been reading some Nicholas Sparks books lately, pretty heartbreaking stories that always make me cry, but such beautiful stories and his description of the South Carolina coast is just awesome.
Be safe in Galveston if you are assigned there and please take care of yourself. That is such a wonderful thing you are doing. That's good Karma that you will get back again and again. I can't wait to hear from you again.

I have not talked with you in a few weeks. How are you? I guess you heard that we had a hurricane came to Texas. We were worried it would come to Austin but we were lucky and it did not. I wanted you to know that I am going off the NSC site for a while starting on 9/26/08. I think I will be back around the middle of October. I had hope to be sent to Galveston for clean-up support. I have not heard anything but I really want to help. Tell me how your trip was and what book you are reading. Take care Dan18
Hey Dan thats awesome.. Im also moving into a different direction with my career too. Had an appointment with a friend of mine that owns his own company. Im going out of my comfort zone and looking forward to new challenges now!
Mine was good i hope yours was also good. I understand what your saying about organ donations, and its good your trying to encourage it. I also understand how you never get anything done if your at your house haha, i have to say i also always get distracted.
im glad to be taking geomotry ,like your saying its more logical, hopfully that will motivate me to do well. I got my first taste of shakespere actually last year during Romeo and Juliet, not that i love it, but im not complaining.
I've been wanting to see tropic thunder since i saw the preview for it, i'll probley go to see that somtime during the following week. Babylon A.D. also had my interests, but i do hate when there is to much dialog. I guess ill have to see both and decide.
Hi Dan. Thanks for your message. I've been a little of out touch. I've been working insane hours including weekends getting ready for a big presentation. You definitely have scored some bargains with your Coach bags. WOW! Even my keychain was more than your bags. Well ENJOY!!!
Sounds like you had a great time Kayakin. I hope you get to go camping for the holiday weekend. My husband I will be heading out to our beach house in northern FL on Thursday and we will be spending the long holiday weekend there. I'm looking forward to some down time. I just want to be by the ocean and read. But we will probably do other things, just not making any plans. I want no schedules for a few days.
Please stay in touch I enjoy chatting with you. Take care & TTYS. Marilyn
Yea schools starting after labor day, what a bumer. Im taking all the regualer classes (Geomotry, Lit., Bio, ETC)and im also taking Business Law. Whats the library project about, whats it for? Thats good its cooled off for you down there, thats still pretty toasty though. haha i know what you meen some nights in some areas in PA during the summer cool off and get kind of chilly.
Thats some intense heat man, and yea im sure there are others either not coming out with it or lurking. Like you said all the mods are great, they are all friendly and willing to talk! Im always sure to use the search function also. My picture is actually i fight that a recentlly lost in Muay Thai Kickboxing i went all three rounds, but lost by decision, everyone feels it was a horrible decision though and i feel i won. The reason i have a medal was because it was a tournament and there was only me and one other in my weight class. The guy i fought is in the picture next to me and was 38! Actually i am not a senior i am 15 going in to tenth grade, but good guess i know my profile says 17 haha.-Nate
Hi Dan. Thanks for stopping by and telling me about yourself. Definitely go for a job that will be fulfilling and enjoyable to you. I hope that will be the case with the next one. Good luck on that and let me know how it goes for you. Yes, I am an Interior Designer. I don't say an Interior Decorator because I have a Degree and I'm licensed in my home state in addition to having several prestigious certifications. It's years of studying, on-going education and work experience at this point. Presently, I'm starting the process of getting LEED certified. I need to take the State Exam first though. I do enjoy what I do and get to work on some truly amazing projects.
I'm glad to know that you too are a Coach junkie! It doesn't matter if they are old and used or brand new, they age beautifully, they are classics and they are definitely a "must have" in my opinion. I got my first one when I graduated from college as a gift from my parents, still have it to this day. Then I started getting them for myself. I presently have 44 in my collection. I even had a section in my closet custom designed and built to store them. My husband teases me and tells me I can open my own Coach Outlet store right out of my closet. This summer I'm into a Kiwi color tote, but I change them often. I'm starting to eye the fall collection LOL!
Well stay in touch and tell me if you get any good ones for a bargain. I almost got one at E-Bay. A classic model from their Legacy Collection that is no longer available but I was outbidded. I do have my limit to what I will pay as much as I love them. Take care. TTYS. Marilyn
Hi! Thank you so much for your kind words and I'm happy that you liked the pictures. We just got back from a vacation in Hawaii and we really had the best time. We've had our ups and downs like any other couple, but mostly it's been a good for us. I'd like to get to know you better, I see we share some mutual friends here at the site. Searles72 is my best friend in the whole world and any friend of hers is a friend of mine. I hope to hear from you soon! Take care. Marilyn
Hey Dan, Id like to tell you how I shot the waterfalls but heck....I just aim and click! If they turn out Im just darn lucky... Thanks about the avatar...I change them up, all on my mood for the week..
Have fun on your trip ... it's been years since I have camped ... all the gear's probably half rotted away in the garage, haha. I am re-doing one of my bathrooms this weekend ... well what's left of the weekend after working an 8 hour shift on SAturday. Be safe.
Sorry I haven't stopped by in a while - it's been really busy at work and I've got so much going on trying to relocate. Whew! I apologize for not getting back to you sooner.
Thank you for stopping by and visiting - I really hope to hear from you soon! :) Hope all is well with you!

Hi huyah_dan18! I got your email and had to reply with a PM on the forum side of the site. Let me know if there is anything else I can do for you. Thanks, ~ Shar
