Training doesn't make you a soldier
DATE: 03/21/216 12:45:51 / MOOD: creative

I can't stand it when people try to act like they are special or tough just because they 've had some training.  How many black belts do you know that are tougher than the average joe?  Not very many.  How many fellow comrades have you seen in the ranks of special forces that wereshnockie bags?  When it comes down to it, training doesn't make the person; the person is already made and the training just enhances them.  Some people were just born to soldier or born to be leaders while others were not.  Unfortuniately we live in a highly commercialized world today where real men are shut out and fairy boys are recruited, given some training, and then tough to think they are tough.  Rich men just need bodies to fill positions; real rugged men just live cold hard life and don't need or ask for the recognition.   I'll tell you what is tough and adventurious: take your ass to some country far far away and try to blend in and make a new life where they don't even speak your language.  Where the people look at you weird and you get grossed out by the food they eat and irritated by there customs that are so damn different from your own.  You might find the meaning of your existance out there?  If you can't get past the home sickness and find comfort in the loneliness of solitude, then, well you will never be  a true great warrior.  Being a Navy seal, Ranger,  soldier doesn't make you bullet proof.  It just means you had some awesome training.  It doesn't mean that you are envinceable or that you can brake the law and run freely around the world like Jason Bourne with a purse full of passports from all different countries.  There is no special method for loosing tracking dogs while running on foot.  Like I said, these guys are still human.  Let me hear what you have to say. . ..
