Your husband was a true hero in every sense of the word and every time I read Lone Survivor (I've read it several times) it reinforces my believe that SEALs are the ultimate warriors. Hey Maria, Your husband was a brave man. I read the book Lone Survivor, it was great. Your husband and the rest of the team fought for us all. I want to thank them and you. I always go online and read articles and look at pictures about them. well, take care.
Thank you so much Maria. You wouldn't believe how many times I have been told by numerous people that I wont make it. I am about 5'7" and 150, obviously not a large man. Few people have believed I would accomplish anything in my life, I have had way too many doubters. But it is because of my determination and the kind words of a few close freinds and family members and kind people such as yourself that keep me motivated and help me achieve all my goals. Not to mention I love proving doubters wrong. But it means alot more coming from a strong woman who was married to someone so great as Danny. I appreciate the words of encouragment. I will take them with me to BUD/S in two years!!
Maria, I just wanted to let you know that Danny and the rest of those brave men are heroes and an inspiration to me. His story speaks volumes about the character of the Navy SEALs and what great men they are.
Your love and passion to keep his memory alive is amazing, and I respect you for that. It makes me proud to think that one day I will be a member of this elite class of tremendous men! Stay strong!
The One is alive today and telling the story of your heroism because of the sacrifice of you and your brothers, Danny,Matt and Michael. Your life was not wasted and your memory lives on as an example for others to follow. Rest in Peace and know that you will never be forgotten by those that understand and truly appreciate the price you paid for us.
Let it be said that these men are truly Americans unsung heroes, It is rare to glimpse the dedication, resolve and skill of these truly amazing soldiers, husbands and fathers. Blessed are those who knew them and associated with them and blessed are we to hear of his valiant effort and love for our country. He is O.K. let this motivate all of us to improve something about ourselves.
