I'm just going to have to wait for Orton to get back from his ankle injury but they are still a good team. Although Grossman totally blew it on Sunday with 7 minutes left to play. It was good to see my long lost daughter and we will do more catching up soon over dinner.
You will get no argument from me on the knot. My former boss is a pro at all types of knots and neck ties and what have you. Took him forever to teach me how to make a windsor instead of a wrap around. I see my darling daughter once in a blue moon lately so it was very good to see her. We will be having dinner one night within the next couple of weeks and she will get me up to date on everything that has been going on in her life. Although there is never a dull moment. My Bears choked today at the end, but considering Grossman was the QB it wasn't all that surprising. The rest of my teams pulled out the Win. Now I'm just waiting for the Giants to win tonights game. I like the Eagles but I like the Giants better. ~Shar
Have you finished with your uniform yet? I hope you enjoy the Ceremony tomorrow. My weekend was more of the usual. Had a follow-up with my nutritionist; which went well. My blood pressure was a tad low but it came back up shortly after it was taken. Had lunch and ran into my "adopted" figuratively speaking daughter. After that it was off for some errands and than back home to my nice warm home. Tomorrow is NFL game day and I will be cheering on my Bears, then the double header game, and Sunday night football.
Good Morning Nate! Everything is going well except the weather. It got too cold too soon and I could do without any snow until after December 1st! How are things going with you these days? ~Shar
hey perkcitynato, My time has come. Just writing to say goodbye and thanks for your support. My last day will be monday. Very busy this weekend. Thanks again, i will write back whenever i get a chance. Take care. Im ready to kick ass. HOOYAH!!
I am operating on very little sleep...3 hours in the last 48! Insomnia is the pits!!! I now have toothpicks holding my eyelids open..j/k! I need a very long nap but I'm busy looking after my twin nephews...never ends! Soon the loudness will start all over again. TTYL ~Shar
i saw your screen name and thought maybe it was some twist of 'Park City native", i was stoked since that's where i'm from but i guess it wasn't haha. All the best man
Man i wish we had woods up here. The desert is cool and all but the weather sucks. Its 96 degrees man, you can't were camo for very long because you sweat before you even start to play. I think there is more courses up here but i live in a growing city so there isn't anything but desert...
I live in AZ so i paintball mainly in the desert. There a place called cowtown down here its has a pretty cool course. I don't go there much but when I do I enjoy it. Where you go man?
Perk, I had the ribbing coming ... I like taking shots as much as I like giving them. In fact I was just waiting for somebody to call me on my un-natural liking of Steve Prefontane , I can just hear you in the backround...Oh Steve, oh steve, oh steve...I'm your biggest fan...behind my back ...all in good fun bro. Keep in touch
I enjoy the local leagues that are around during the spring, summer and fall in my area. And, of course, the lil kiddos and their t-ball games are always big fun. Have to run now....the Vice Presidential Debate is starting and I need to catch this one. TTYL ~Shar
Well, seeing how I grew up in a family that was dominated by males and we only had one TV in the house; everything came down to a vote. I learned to love football and many other sports. The only one I never could get into was professional baseball. That is a definite snooze fest for me. The only slow sport I enjoy playing and watching is golf. ~Shar
Hey Perk ... you gave me a laugh...I just want to make it clear that I don't have a stuffed animal of Prefontane that I sleep with or anything ...but yeah, his life story gives me a little feel good and motivation to keep running, and not let anything stop me. Keep in touch and take care.
They are 2-2 right now and tied for 1st place in their division. Prior to last nights game, they blew the last two games needlessly. We needed the win last night and they came through. It was an excellent game. Right now I'm trying to watch the end of the Ravens and Steelers game. All tied at 20 up with 2:51 in the game! ~Shar
Hey Nate! Things aren't too bad on my end. Been on the busy side lately but not much you can do about that. Today will be a fantastic day....gotta run so I'm ready for my NFL game day. Have a good one! TTYL ~Shar
Hey Nate,Hope you had a great weekend! I am sorry I couldn't answer your question earlier in regards to school and BUD/s, my school and work consume me. My husband and all team guys at his command were required as apart of their job (after they became a SEAL) to take college courses. They are corespondence course and taken online. With that he was able to get his associates degree. Now my hubs is currently working on his batchelors degree and is still very active team guy including trips and deployments. If you want it you can make whatever you want happen. Just follow your heart and what feels right for you! Take care!
Hey so are you training pretty hard right now? I need some tips because the running and swimming are working but it feels like somethings missin. How old are you. That would be sweet if me and you were in the same BUD/S class
Yeah I saw that too, it was offered at Henley Putnam University but the accrediation is not the same as most Universities. I want to get my degree in International Affairs or Criminal Justice. Still have plenty of time to make a decision though so I'm not to worried.
Well I'm a junior in highschool but I'm doing Running Start this year along with my senior year so I will graduate with my AA. Then I will either do two more years of college and get my BA or enlist before. Lots of work but it'll all pay off in the end.
Hi! Thanks for stopping by again. I'm doing well. Been busy so I haven't had time to cruise the site and I'm getting a chance tonight. Getting in touch with friends. Your favorite book is also mine, actually, your two favorite books are the same as mine. Guess we share a common interest. Anyway, I hope to hear from you soon, stay in touch. Take care. Marilyn
Hey, thanks for the background on you! I understand the pressure of competing as a fighter. I used to compete in Tae Kwon Do. You'll find what's right for you. What path works. As for going to college and BUD/S... I am probably different from a lot of what others tell you, because I think you can go either way. My hubs is a team guy and when straight from high school at 18 to BUD/s and through to the teams. All team guys have to take college courses and it lead to him getting his associates degree, now he's still operating and was able to find a school that works with his crazy schedule as a team guy. He's now working on his bachelors degree. Anything is possible. Just sharing an example of another option. Take care! Do ya thing and take care of you!
