Hi there. Christmas was great thank, a nice quiet day with lots of presents I loved the photo you sent its cool they had a summer Christmas. Been busy with C at home for the next 10 days on Boxing day we went shopping and I bought lots of stuff then we saw Avatar in 3D which was amazing. Your jigsaw seems to be coming together well is it finished yet?

Yep, that's what happened alright. My youngest brother and my oldest niece sent me text messages. I got a voicemail message from her surgeon while I was out snowblowing the 3 to 4 inches of fresh powder we got over night. She is doing better today and he will be leaving the NG tube in through sometime tomorrow. He is also going to keep her in the hospital for a few more days because if something goes wrong once I get her back home, she will not go back to the hospital. We can all understand that but she is one stubborn lady. I am hitting the shower and then headed back to the hospital. Have a great weekend!
Went to the hospital yesterday. My sister and BIL were there when I arrived and shortly afterwards my oldest brother, his wife and 2 of his 3 children showed and then my youngest brother and wife came. Amazing! Perhaps it had something to do with my replies to 2 text messages that I got early afternoon from my youngest brother and oldest niece. Maybe, just maybe they were able to read between the lines when they were told where I would be on Christmas Day...IDIOTS!!!
Let's just say that I'm related to a crap load of self envolved a-holes. Very soon I am going to snap and several are going to get an ear full from me! I have freakin' had it with them and their total disregard for my Mom and I do mean "my" Mom...they have an I could care less attitude. A rude awakening is coming their way and if they don't like it they can quite frankly KMFA...bunch of jagbags!
She had a setback yesterday and will be in for as long as it takes to clear up this latest problem...sucks but not much we can do about it. Hopefully she'll be home by New Year's Eve. We are going to hold off on Christmas until she's home and feeling up to it.

I was writing you a message but my computer crashed my office is to hot today. Anyways I'm doing okay was sick for a couple of days and am now bouncing back thanks to antibiotics. Writing is slowly getting better though yesterday I did admit to think about burning the whole damn thing Hows life with the Uncle and Aunt sounds like you are having way too much fun.
You already for Christmas? Finally sent of the last present today (not my fault) Hubby forgot to get a present for his dad and I had to end up sorting it out. oh well, only 3 more sleeps till Santa.
Nah, I don't participate in that stuff. It's not that bad either. I don't enjoy doing all of the stuff but after it's over with, I feel a whole lot better and I do have more energy.
My Mom has some crap in her right lung and they switched her treatment to one she really doesn't like. She says it hurts her but it has to be done. Hopefully she will be released next Monday or Tuesday. We were told at the least it would be 5 days but I think it'll be longer by a couple of days.
My tree is still in a bucket of water in the garage...gonna shoot for tomorrow morning to get it inside and decorated.
Gotta run...WOD is done, breakfast has been eaten...time to hit the shower...head to the hospital...then to the twins school for some Christmas kindergarten fun!
Oh no they won't! When you miss a day, they talk about you and give you a nickname. They did that to me last week when I was in bed with a temperature of 102...rat bastards! I told them all that I've had far worse than what they came up with and if needed, I would be more than happy to bring a note in from my Doctor...Bahahahaha!

I was out cold for 12 hours. Woke up just after Boot Camp ends this morning...missed another one! I'll take the hits tomorrow at 0600. I am off to start what will be another long day. Have a good one!
Got home at 2300 and finally fell asleep at 0130...up at 0400. I got through the first 2 exercises at boot and it was downhill from there...I had next to nothing left in me...very disappointing. My knees are killing me and the rest is sore muscles.
I'm at the hospital now and she looks pretty good, considering. She however says she feels like shee-yit! I told her to give it tine since it isn't even 24 hours.
Got home about 40 minutes ago from the hospital for an EKG and some more blood work. They changed the time from 9 AM to 1:20 PM and they've said it should be about 4 hours but we're going to ask the Doctor before the surgery starts tomorrow. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers, I appreciate it!

I'll give you summer but no way on winter. I was so warm earlier that I switched from a sweatshirt to a tank and now I'm a bit chilled. Felt much better this morning...woke with no fever so I was a troopa and headed back to boot camp...had my ass handed to me today but it felt good...except that damn running...that absolutely BLOWS! Gotta get back to baking cookies for Christmas...TTYL!
Yep...it was definitely a cold one yesterday. When I left the house this morning at 0500 it was 9 degrees but it's 1400 now and 20 degrees with a clear blue sky and plenty of sunshine. You don't want to live here...we have the dog days of summer where the temps can soar in to the low 100's and the humidity is 100% with the dewpoint being saturated and the winter months can be brutally cold. Yesterday was nothing compared to when the air temps dip below zero and that is before the wind if factored into it.
Yuppers...that is Fahrenheit alright! How do we keep warm in my area...we dress in layers...either a hat or ear muffs, gloves, scarves and a nice warm coat. I forgot that I need to get the oil changed on my car...it will keep until tomorrow when it hits the 20's.
Stop shaking that present! You wouldn't want to break anything inside the box...
I'm glad that your family arrived safely and made it through customs quickly. You should have a great time while they are there visiting. I'm feeling a bit better today. At least I didn't wake with a fever this morning...if it stays away for the next 24 hours I should be good to go. Back to Boot Camp tomorrow at 0600. The weather here is nasty...currently the temp is 1...yup that's 1...BRRRRR!!! There are a few clouds in the sky but the sun is out...it's still a bit windy. Tomorrow it is supposed to be in the 20's. I'm gonna stay inside today and bake for the Christmas holiday...after training tomorrow and my Mom's last appointment for this week...I'll probably head out and get a tree...need to get that sucker up and decorated. All the presents are wrapped...that's a plus!
Honestly I feel like crap on a stick. I went to bed before 4 PM yesterday with a fever and woke at 4 AM today with the same damn fever. My head is either clogged up or my nose is literally like a leaky faucet. I did not go to the workout today since I had a fever...probably should have gone and given this to the whole group. The weather here is pure ugly...snow, sleet, rain, wind and bitter cold temps...it will be in the single digits tomorrow. Not to mention that I have to take my Mom to a Doc appointment every single day this week with the exception of tomorrow. There isn't a single Christmas decoration up in my house and I haven't even gone a gotten a tree. There is just too much to do and not enough hours in the day.
I hope that you and your family have a great time visiting and that the Holiday's are extremely happy for you and yours.

As for writing its just hard to get back into the swing of things and also yesterday was the 2 year anniversary since I started writing it. I just want the damn thing finished, getting a little frustrated and bored. I'm going to finish it though damn it!
Good to hear you're writing again and sorry to hear that your cats want to help you with the writing process, I always make a point of shutting the office door when I'm done cause Jack wants to help, usually by chewing on pens, etc. I went and saw New Moon again by myself, the first time was at midnight and I didn't get all the intricacies in it, the second time I saw it, it was way better. Tried writing again yesterday but the block I had before I had visitors is back, sigh, must work harder.
The funny thing was that NZ lost their last wicket two minutes before it started raining. If they just held on then it might have been different. Oh well thats life I guess, it was fun going to the match any way. In February we are going to the twenty/20 game between NZ and Aussie which should be amazing.
I'm glad to hear kitty is doing well and I hope she clears up soon so you don't have to clean her leg every day.

Yes I saw the stories and its disgusting what they're doing to them. The parents are driving me nuts, I haven't had 5 minutes by myself all day and I could really do with some alone time and chocolate and a glass of wine. Sigh, only 9 days to go . And as for your relatives, quick go on a holiday for Christmas. Oh and chocolate is way better than prozac. Rainey...I checked out the link and the pics are very nice. Even if I don't understand all that technical stuff you mentioned. I'm a point, shoot and hope for the best kinda gal. Sometimes it works and other times it doesn't...maybe I should have my glasses on when using my new Nikon since there is no view finder on it!
Boot Camp is basically a training program where they use cardio, core strengthening and weights to whip ones ass in shape. It's available in my area for 4, 8 or 12 weeks and it's Monday through Friday for one hour. I am not exactly looking forward to the agony and pain I'm gonna be in but considering that I have been up and down a ladder and stairs for several weeks, I don't think my legs could hurt much more. And, the same goes for my arms since I've been washing ceilings and walls in the house. Remodeling dust...SUCKS!
Gotta fly...still have baking and some cleaning to do before the clan arrives tomorrow.
Thanks Rainey! Yesterday was a rough day but I'm heading to Bootcamp on the 7th of December for 8 weeks and hopefully having my ass pounded daily will help relieve some of the stress. Gotta take things one day at a time...that's all we can do. As to the rest of the family...they will find out all about Karma one day. I'm off to grab something to eat for lunch here and then back to cleaning walls...there are too damn many in my house!

Dave was a good guy but left us too young at 51. We tossed back a few in his memory though and that's a good thing.
I am a big support of BCA...I have 2 extended family members who are survivors and 1 who lost her battle many years ago. Early detection is the key...you gotta get squished!
Sleep in large doses is highly overrated and not something that I get anymore...tossing and turning after 3 to 4 hours is pretty much the norm.
