One of the funny things I see is all these guys enlisting with the minimums on the PST...I already am in the "competitive" ranges, and I am still CHOOSING to wait till I am better...
Ya, in September it is 6 months. And my girl gets the same talk everyday haha. I am still with her because I straight up told her that at this point in my life, she is NOT my prority. Maybe not even number 2... She didnt walk away, and she accepts that, so I do too.
My "secret goal" was to ENLIST before I am 19, meaning BY 01/26/2011. I want to be sure I am where I want to be physically. I am training with a bad ass former SWCC and he has some goals for me as weell. If I can't make my deadline, well, I didnt train hard enough so I would need to step it up.
I am already redlining so I forsee my goal happening. Whatever time I have in DEP will be devoted to getting even better. I am so happy for you dude!
Dude....totally sounds like a plan. Yeah eye's get done the 23rd. How long did you have to wait to start training again? Only thing i'm concerned about is I now have to secure two waivers...one for eye's and one for my age!!!! Hell with it though... not worried because it's gonna happen damn it!!! hahahaha

Doing pretty good actually FINALLY getting my surgery this month......wish I was as far along as you..... I'm so f'ing pumped!!!!! Have my 3 month post op June 20-something. I have no idea where they stand...everyday things are unaffected, and I havnt caught myself squinting. I am hoping for 20/20 obviously... Nights are still iffy...starburts and holo are kinda off and on...

i live really close to ucla so i visit campus from time to time. hard to imagine i graduated 13 years ago. if you do well at Moorpark you will be able to transfer. and even though you don't need a degree to be a fireman, i think it is great that you are pursuing a college degree nonetheless. you can never go wrong with education. i have a law degree and practiced less than one year but what i learned and experienced are priceless. let me know when you get to ucla. you'll be in my neck of the woods then.
well our 152, HWT and i r going to road trip out to CA this summer idk where we r going to yet but if we go out by SD then u should show us around and give us some stuff to do cuz we just plan on chillin on the beach the whole time. what r some cool things to do out there?
