Model vs. SEAL

Mark Divine No Comments BUD/S, Training

I have recently listened to several private debates regarding women serving within combat units, while particular groups within the Department of Defense and many politicians have remained quiet on the topic.  I would like to move the current situation more into the public realm, and elicit answers to two questions regarding women serving in combat roles.  First, do you think women could make it through the SEAL program, in the manner that is currently required for men in the program?   Seondly, should women serve, alongside men, within special operations groups such as the Navy SEALs?

Recently, model and fitness guru Lauren Berlingeri took on a Navy SEAL boot camp to test herself and push her limits.  This program is run by veteran SEAL operators.  This is a two part video series.  Check out part 1 and let me know what you think.
