Mark Divine No Comments Admin, SEAL News

A fundraising group called “Joggin’ for Frogmen” is collecting donations for the family of Navy SEAL Matthew Leathers.  Matthew is survived by his wife and three chidren who are all under the age of 10.  The Joggin’ for Frogmen group will be will be running in Sunday’s Hapalua half-marathon to raise funds.  The group will be running this fundraiser for three more days.  Their challenge: “Our new 9 DAY Challenge is to raise as much money as possible for the Leathers Family by 10 March, the day of the Hapalua. Our goal is $5000. All funds raised from 2 March to 10 March will go directly to Matt Leathers’ children.”

Leathers went missing when he was separated from his unit while training off Kaena Point a couple of weeks ago.  The United States Coast Guard has since called off the search.

Donations to the family will be taken until race day.  Joggin’ for Frogmen – Support the Leathers Family
