Not every SEAL receives the opportunity to become SDV qualified and spends time with an SDV team. I myself spent time and SEAL Delivery Vehicle Team 2 and I can tell you from experience that the operations conducted by SDV are some of the most exciting in the teams. Like most everything a SEAL does, SDV adds to the dangerous conditions one must endure during their career. Long dives, cold water, as well as the increased risks that come from complicated diving operations are definitely part of the package while operating with SDV.
