I served with Danny Dietz during our time at SEAL Delivery Vehicle Team 2. Dietz is an amazing operator, who always served with honor, courage, and commitment. I will never forget you brother.
The Fourth Annual U.S. Navy SEAL Danny Dietz Memorial Team Roping and Bar-B-Q Cook Off weekend is set for May 24 – 26, 2013 in Rosenberg, Texas at the Fort Bend County Fairgrounds. Danny Dietz was killed during Operation Red Wing; where on June 28, 2005, four of America’s most elite warriors were conducting a reconnaissance mission in the Hindu Kush mountains of Afghanistan and came under fire, ultimately taking three of the four SEALs lives.
