All of those following the Jesse Ventura circus regarding his lawsuit against Navy SEAL Chris Kyle must read the article posted by Stars and Stripes. In it, Jesse Ventura claims that since the release of Kyle’s book, he has been unable to find work, looks over his shoulder everywhere he goes, and is concerned that he will be known as a traitor by those who read the book. I am practically lost for words…. Ventura, stop, just stop.
Those reading Chris Kyle’s book won’t give two shits about you. Those reading Kyle’s book could care less about your conspiracy theories, hurt feelings, and being denied work. Those reading Kyle’s book will be thinking about the true American hero, Chris Kyle. They will be thinking about the sacrifices Kyle made for his country and the selfless acts that he did for returning veterans. They will be thinking about Taya Kyle, her sacrifices, her strength, her light, and the continued work she does in her husband’s name.
Jesse Ventura, you are not a traitor. You are a disgrace to UDT/SEALs everywhere! If I could offer you any advice it would be this: you have been given a life – a life filled with opportunity. You are able to wake every day and enjoy all that life has to offer. You have what was taken from Chris Kyle. If you have any honor left, you will withdraw your suit against Taya Kyle and the Kyle estate. Think long and hard about this and let us know. The SEAL community and America are looking forward to your response.
