Navy SEAL Museum

August 11, 2013
Mark Divine No Comments SEAL News

Located in Ft. Pierce down in Florida, is a special and unique Navy SEAL museum.  The museum is in the original training area for the first Underwater Demolition Teams formed in 1943.  It was founded in the 1980s by a group of retired SEALs in an effort to preserve its history, let the public know the role SEALs played in the war effort, and to honor the servicemen who trained there.

Items on display include helicopters, jeeps, water vehicles, weaponry, a drone, and model of the compound where Osama Bin Laden was taken out by Navy SEALs

Next time you are down in Florida visiting Disney World, take a little time and stop on by to learn more about the Navy Frogman.
