According to ABC News, the identities of CIA Agents and a Navy SEAL provided to the producers of the film “Zero Dark Thirty“, will not be shared with Judicial Watch, Inc. according to the ruling of a federal judge.
Judicial Watch, Inc., filed a lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Defense and the Central Intelligence Agency, claiming the government unfairly withheld the names of four CIA Agents and one Navy SEAL from documents that detailed communications between governmental agencies and the filmmakers behind “Zero Dark Thirty,” according to court documents.
Judicial Watch, Inc. was provided with other details, specifically communications between the Defense Department, CIA, and film-makers, however the identities of specific individuals will not be provided.
Judicial Watch, Inc. is considering an appeal as they feel that if the names were provided to private citizens such as Hollywood film producers, the same information should be available to anyone who requests it.
