The coastal town in Somalia where U.S. Navy SEALs came ashore in a raid last weekend, is preparing for another SEAL attack. Immediately after the raid, Somali fighters began to search the town for local spies they believed aided the American operators.
Punishment is very severe in this lawless land; home base of the largest concentration of foreign fighters and Somali members of al-Shaba.
“The latest attack made the mujahedeen even more vigilant,” said Abu Mohamed, an al-Shabab official in Barawe. “Any more attacks by them will strengthen our morale and spirit.”
