Joggin’ For Frogmen

December 1, 2013
Mark Divine No Comments NSWC

Joggin’ for Freedom.

The Joggin’ for Frogmen running team was created by the girlfriend of a Navy SEAL, to run in the Travis Manion Foundation’s “9/11 Heroes Run” in September 2011.  The team ran in honor of her boyfriend, who was away at training, the 31 Heroes who were killed on the Extortion 17 helicopter crash on August 6, 2011, in Afghanistan, and all of the Navy SEALs and Special Operators at war.  The idea quickly turned into an event with Joggin’ for Frogmen races taking place in San Diego, Pittsburgh and Oahu.

The mission of Joggin’ for Frogmen is to bring men, women and children together to jog in honor of all our SEALs (Frogmen) and Naval Special Warfare Heroes who have sacrificed their lives for us while protecting our country.

The Joggin’ for Frogmen running team supports these families by maintaining the belief that “One of the greatest things we can do to support our military heroes is to give back to the foundations that support our military families.
