Be a Hero, for a Hero – The Red Circle Foundation was established in 2012. Their mission is to serve as a quick reaction non-profit by providing immediate gap funding assistance in support of Special Operations warriors, children and families of the fallen. Typical assistance includes medical, memorial, and household expenses.
But to accomplish their mission they need financial resources, so each year they hold a fundraising gala to raise as much as possible in one night. Last year the Red Circle Foundation was able to realize our goal of $25,000 with the help of amazing supporters like you. This year, the goal is just $75,000.
Please attend, sponsor or donate today to help a Special Operations family in need.
This year’s Gala fundraiser is being held on September 6, at the Birch Aquarium, located at 2300 Expedition Way in La Jolla, CA. Please take note of these times 6PM for VIP Cocktail Reception and 7PM for General Admission. Phone Number (858) 534-3474
This year’s Gala features some wonderful guests and luminaries, notably Mike Ritland, former Navy SEAL and author of Trident K9 Warriors, and Navy SEAL Dogs.
Mike Ritland joined the Navy in 1996 and graduated with BUD/S class 215. After years as a member of SEAL Team 3, he became a BUD/S instructor and then started his own company to train dogs for the SEAL teams. Today he continues to supply working and protection dogs to a host of clients, including the U.S. government and Department of Defense. He also started the Warrior Dog Foundation to help retired Special Operations dogs live long and happy lives after their service.
