Phony Navy SEAL of the Week

So for those of you who have never heard of Don Shipley, let me have the honor of introducing a great Frogman.  Don Shipley retired after 24 years of honorable service as a SEAL Senior Chief in 2003.  He currently runs the Extreme SEAL Experience out of Chesapeake, Virginia.  In his spare time, he is known as the “hunter” of poser SEALs around the country.  Like a heat-seeking missile, Shipley pursues these imposters who have stolen the valor of those who have earned it.  Check out this video of one of his latest catches.

Retired Navy SEAL Don Shipley BUSTS Phony Navy SEAL Robert “Robbie” Robinson from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Robbie has been listed as a fraud and resigned from the VFW.
https://www.facebook.com/pages/VFW-Po…

Shipley’s letter to the VFW Post…
I was just wondering why no one at the VFW Post has questioned Robbie “Robert” Robinson’s military credentials? I just spoke to him after I was sent the pictures and he claimed his military records were “sealed” from the classified nature of his work in Vietnam as a Navy SEAL. He also claimed he changed his name which is NOT true when I began questioning why his name wasn’t listed in the SEAL Database. And he could not give me a training class number first saying it was Class 48 and then changing it to Class 4.

Not knowing your SEAL Training Class number is like not knowing your wife’s name…

It’s very clear he was never a Navy SEAL because I’m a retired SEAL and I quickly checked and found NO LISTING of him ever being a SEAL. Claiming his records are classified is complete and total B%$%#$*T. And he finally admitted he was a fraud to me after I pulled the SEAL Rug out from under him…

That SEAL Trident is worn on the wrong side of his uniform.

His awards are ALL JACKED UP and I’m surprised that at a Memorial Day celebration there wasn’t a single Purple Heart recipient present that would have asked him “Why do you have a Combat V Device on the Purple Heart you’re wearing?” That’s NOT correct…

Or asked, since you have a Silver and Bronze Star “where is your Combat Action Ribbon?”

Or asked, a Bronze Star awarded for combat, no matter what branch of service, is awarded with a “Combat V Device.” If awarded meritoriously (non combat) it contains no “V.” All subsequent awards are a Gold Star in lieu of second, third award, etc. Why does yours have a small bronze star on it? That is NOT correct.

Or asked, why is the very senior Joint Service Commendation Medal behind the lowly Coast Guard Meritorious Team Commendation Ribbon and so far out of whack in the US Military Order of Awards Precedence?

A close look at the Silver Star he’s wearing shows a distinct “hole” in the center of it meaning at some point he was claiming “two” of them and the device was removed or fell off…

Brian K Murphy was just removed as Post Commander of Post 8182 in Florida for his outrageous Navy SEAL claims I exposed… What’s in the water in Florida that you VFW guys don’t question a members credentials or claims? How do they get away with this for so long?

At this point not a single word that comes from Robinson’s mouth can be believed. 40+ years of service (he claims) and he wears 10 “RED” and not Gold Hash Marks as a Master Chief? Between that and the awards that looks like he put on in the dark I have my doubts he ever served a single day in the military. It wouldn’t EVEN be close to the first time I discovered that’s been the case…

Robinson in this video at the 3-minute mark of your Memorial Day celebration is SHAMEFUL. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nqhoUX…

Earl Littman has been outed as a scam artist running a fake charity. http://thisainthell.us/blog/?p=35762

Robert Plummer of CARTHAGE NC claim’s to have been the “First Black Frogman” and he was NOT. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vuclzT…

Robert Plummer served on the USS Rooks as an E-2 Engineman. He boarded the Rooks on 11 January 1952. He got off the Rook on 20 July 1953 and was discharged. The Korean War ended 7 days later. The Rook served in Korea with Plummer but Plummer was NEVER in UDT.

Plummer’s despicable claim is for political gain and delusions of grandeur trying to equate himself with Carl Brashear, the Navy’s first Black Navy Master Diver and the inequality Master Chief Brashear faced and made famous in the movie “Men of Honor.”

The fact is that Naval Special Warfare has NEVER been segregated like much of the US Military during WWII and a number of Black Frogmen served in WWII.

Naval Special Warfare, Underwater Demolition and modern day SEAL Teams, have always welcomed any man of any race into our ranks as long as that man could do the job…

Anyone needing a Navy SEAL claim verified should send a good spelling of that person’s name to

Hey Senior Chief,

Stolen valor should be a death sentence! Most of these idiots would have died in real combat anyway. Thanks for doing what you do!

We picked up a team off of Haiphong in "72". Guys were burnt after evading patrol boats all night! My personal heros!

You sound like such a wussbage a girl. Did you serve in the girl scouts. Was your MOS cookie maker???  Stop putting Shipley down. He is trying to help and 98 percent think he is doing a great job including me.The other 2 percent are the people getting caught He works with and references law enforcement. He is all American. Stop crying. Ur fin annoying. Help, don't criticize like the girl you are.

Extreme Seal Experience has trained hundreds of killers in Virginia. Now ISIS says it has terrorists in 17 states including Virginia.  How many terrorists did Don Shipley of Extreme Seal Experience train to kill us or bomb us?  We'll never know as Shipley just took their money, asked no questions, did no background checks, trained them how to kill and sent these possible ISIS murderers out amongst us.
I've filed a report with the Virginia State Police and FBI to subpoena his records to interview his trained killers now that ISIS says they are in Virginia and 17 states total.
Don Shipley-the PayPal Patriot.  Give him enough money (though PayPal) and he'll teach you the skills he learned in the Navy on how to kill fellow Americans for Muhammad!

@DanielABernath1 Are you still chest beating on this?  That's like saying a dude ranch turns people into cowboys and space camp turns people into astronauts.  If you think otherwise, then you probably also think the American Legion is some Illuminati-like organization that owns judges and has it out for you.

I will never be ashamed of myself. To many people suffer have suffered and died while servicing. Fuck Germany Europe who cares. The grass is on your private property, the car is private, But the US military is all about Honor, everyone wearing the uniform represents this country so I don't agree. Your the type that waits until it happens, ( Wait until your brakes fail and almost run into a bridge, then get them checked. Your comment about vigilante, I'm not a vigilante for calling someone out. a fake. He is a public figure and I'm a taxpayer to say the least. I could call anyone I want out if I think he or she is a fake a police officer anyone that works for or represents Public Property a public figure or is dishonoring., But I'm not going to be a dumb fuck and watch something terrible in progress without helping. U probably would turn around and walk away because you seem to be the type that is selfish and couldn't give a sht about anyone else but yourself. A dickhead to say the least. You have the balls to put your pathetic pic on this post. Your type is always brave when not standing in front of the person you are suggesting should be ashamed. If you told me you stupid mthrfkr that I should be ashamed of myself in person I would probably knock you hard on your ass. You wouldn't say that again.I could assure you. Your suggestion about the courts etc. In many parts of the country ,many major cities falsely claiming you are a soldier or military is petty, they have the mentality that they have bigger fish to fry than stolen valor so to speak. Where law enforcement gets hundreds of calls a day against some small town in the U.S that gets 2 calls a day, might think or highly prioritize Stolen valor as a very serious crime. So confronting that person where I live in the mall was important . the police would have done nothing if called. They unfortunately wouldn't of had time to take a complaint on it.

@carcraze123 OK, Nazi Brown Shirt, give me your REAL name, SS number, addresses for past 5 years.  I will investigate every aspect of your life.

Then I will find you and yell at you in public for something that you are hiding.
We don't have Nazi Brown Shirts here.  We don't have vigilantes here.

Behave yourself or you will end up in prison for assault, battery, inciting to riot.

I served my country repeatedly...so what?  Now we protected her so you can act like this is Iran or Nazi Germany?  Chase jews, gypsies and political opponents down the street like in Nazi Germany?
Nah.  Not so much.  I wore the uniform and I have no higher right to violate the law than any one else.

@DanielABernath1 @carcraze123 Why are you trying to steal his identity?  Why else would someone need that information?  As for your trumped up charges, those are ludicrous.  This is especially true with a simple google search of your name.  How is the California Bar review holding up?  What about those losing cases you filed against the vets who called you out for stolen valor?  It's amazing what google can find about someone.

I called out a fake marine here on Long Island at the Roosevelt Field Mall. He wasn't even close.  He was talking to a bunch of adults and kids. I couldn't help it. I approached him. I'm a former Army Military police. I worked close side by side with the Marines, i was pissed to say the least. The Guy calls security and threatening to call the Police. I was pleasant but questioning this guy like I was prosecuting him. Luckily the security , one being a former Navy Vet on a part time gig and another was former Coast guard told this asshle to leave. I swear when it was finished i felt like sht for the crap this guy was doing. They should through every one of these guys in Jail.

@carcraze123 How about if we all become vigilantes and throw out the Rule of Law.  Then we can go after you for not cutting your grass enough, or driving a dirty car. Or being a "PIG" military police.  Then we'll follow you around in public yelling at you.

@DanielABernath1 @carcraze123 I'd prefer that Stolen Valor is handled in the court of public opinion.  However, I also prefer that people who perjure themselves and falsely claim to be something they are not be handled in the courts.  Don't you?

Flag_Waver

@carcraze123 I don't think they should be in jail.  I think they should be made to do community service, in pink jumpsuits, on military posts.  You could make them wear pink road guard vests with the word "PHONY" across the chest.

It reminds me of a guy claiming to be a Chief Petty Officer when he never earned the rank.  He actually sued a bunch of people who outed him.  Ultimately, the judge threw it out of court and ordered him to pay the attorney's fees for all of us.  I forget his name, but you can probably find it by Googling "Bernath Stolen Valor."  The rest just speaks for itself.

How about Toastie Coastie.  Tattoos a few inches from her asshole with medals she never earned and units she never served in.
How about Mark C. Seavey, soon to be in prison...dressing up like a General when he was a mere enlisted man.
How about you Jason Ellenburg, a postal monkey who claims that there was an IED in Oregon that somehow  blew up and you caught the PTSD.

I'd like to find some guy who claims to be a Chief Petty Officer when he never earned that rank.  That would piss me off, having earned that rank.myself.

Flag_Waver

@DanielABernath1 @Flag_Waver @carcraze123 You were a CPO?  That's kind of funny since a FOIA on you that I googled up said you only earned Petty Officer 2nd Class, two ranks lower than CPO.  Funny how that works.  Did the Navy not do your paperwork correctly?  Where did you earn the rank of Chief Petty Officer?

It's kind of funny how you seem to pay attention to women's tattoos and think that Civil War reenactment is Stolen Valor.  It's even more funny that you call me crazy and suggest there were IEDs in Oregon.  That sounds kind of crazy.

Flag_Waver
Flag_Waver

@carcraze123 @Flag_Waver Amen.  I are one.  I used to be a soldier until I took an IED to the knee.  Didn't lose any limbs, but ended up with a kneecap made by Hasbro and a series of hoops to jump through for VA benefits.

I'd much rather see the idiots embarrassed. Pilloried in the town square and all.  I like the idea of restitution for any money's they received through discount or benefit.  But, also 1 hour of community service for every dime.  Include the pink coveralls and road guard vest.  Let the troops have a laugh as these idiots have to police call a parking lot and mow a lawn, doing the jobs actual service members typically have to do for beautification duty.

@Flag_Waver @DanielABernath1 @carcraze123 This is not a threat, but a warning. It is a lifeline thrown for you to hopefully grab before the abyss swallows you. If you choose to ignore it then I will pray that God, of whichever deity you pray to, will have mercy upon you. I can assure you that I will not, and I will be smiling while everything you know is laid to waste around your whimpering form.
The person making this threat for a “final solution” is “Flagwaver”, Jason Ellenburg, Katie “Aysel” Ellenburg 608 Villa, Newberg, OR 97132, (503) 487-6132
When you brought my spouse into the game we were playing, you ventured dangerously close to an abyss that you did not realize was dangerous. I warned you, but that warning fell upon deaf ears.

RB, I never claimed to be a door kicker nor did I claim to do “classified operations” beyond the fact that I cannot even say that I went over there. I can’t say that I was in an IED explosion that left me with a partial plastic kneecap, I can’t say that I damn near lost my head to a sniper shot that spider-webbed an uparmored HMMWV window, I can’t say that I provided bodyguard duties for someone from Oregon when they toured Iraq. What part of “I didn’t go over and Chuck Norris anything,” did you not understand. I can’t say what I did, but most of it was courier with a couple of exceptions. It’s those thrice-damned exceptions that screwed me up.

OEF, for the most part, you are correct that I was a gofer. However, that is not all that I did. I can’t talk about what the hell I did over there, thus the “secret squirrel” moniker I hung on it. I didn’t kick doors or personally lead commando raids or any shit like that. I can’t even tell you if I discharged my weapon or got injured.

Clay Takara of Avada Colorado is another fraud.

Clay Takara has represented himself as a Navy Seal, Green Beret, Army Ranger, and Air Force Academy trainer. He has a scar on his neck which he says is where he got shot but it's actually from a car accident surgery in which he collected a large amount of settlement from insurance. After speaking with a family member I found that he also lied in that case and they believe he was faking it to get the money.

Clay Takara needs to be stopped. He is speaking at the Rotary and doing interviews with kids.

Please help stop this fraud. It's disgusting!

Although I was not a SEAL, I was in the Navy.  I want to thank you for outing these lying bastards.  I remember three of our guys for the USS Elliot going over to Buds.  We knew that two of them wouldn't make it, and 90% thought one would.  Damned if he didn't, and he wasn't the biggest or strongest of them physically.

I ran into him years later, long after I was out.  He was still a SEAL, fighting to stay in after some kind of accident off base that broke both his legs.  He wanted to finish 20 'honestly' he said, instead of taking a Med discharge. Never knew what happened, but if a guy COULD come back from that, he was one of them.

I guess I can understand a guy who didn't serve in any branch claiming he did, I get the envy part of it.

But veterans who claim they were "X" in the military, but weren't dishonor all of us IMO, especially that "X" elite community. [I've noticed no one ever claims they were a cook, ships serviceman, or some sort of pencil pusher]  Once the fakers get outed, it makes non-vets wonder if any of us were where or what we actually claim.  To bad there isn't some kind of Adult Corporal Punishment for making these claims.  Flogging is just about right, one lash for every year of lying about their [faked] service works for me!

I commented because my wife used to work with a guy who claimed all that sealed record / Top Secret / go to jail if ever tell you, still have nightmares kinds of crap, about being Marine Recon.  I looked around, locally and online but couldn't find anyone interested in outing him, or even willing to point me to a group or site like this.  I guess the Navy takes this liar crap more seriously than do the Marines, or that's the way it my old squid mind.

Keep up the good work, and thanks to all in here for YOUR service.

There were SEAL's in 1968.  I was, as a Marine, station at the Naval Amphibious Base in Little Creek, VA from March 1966 through July 1968.  Stationed there at hat facility was UDT Team 21 and SEAL Team 1 and UDT Team 22 and SEAL Team 2 were in California (Coronado I believe).  I know they were there because I hung out with them and they were some mean, badass sons-a-bitches back then.  The wore the same utility uniform as the Marines, that is when they were dressed.  Most of the time, they were in shorts and T-Shirt either out running or swimming.

I am married to a man who claims that he was a former navy seal.  It's driving me crazy that I don't know if the man I married was who he claimed to be.  I heard so many stories, I even googled the person who was supposedly his best friend in the seals, but to no avail.  Please, please, help me to put these fears to rest one way or another.  Was James Dean Morgan ever a navy seal?  He is 55 years old now, and claims that he was a seal between approximately 24-31 years old.  Then he says he was discharged for an injury that happened aboard ship.  I know for certain that he was in the navy.  I know that he receives a small discharge check a month.  But no one, not even his mother, can verify that he was ever a seal.  Again, please help me to put these fears to rest.  Is he the man I've looked to as a hero a true hero, or as my intuition tells me, simply an imposter.

Thanks,

Bullshit.  I was stationed in Little Creek, VA from 66 - 68 and stationed right there with me (a Marine) were UDT Team 21 and Seal TEAM 1.  UDT Team 2 and SEAL team II were in California.  I used to hang out with them in Little creek.  They dressed in the same fatigues that Marines wore, that is when they were dressed.  Most of the time they were in shorts and T-shirts and spending their day running and/or swimming.

@missreba06 30 years ago he could have been UDT.  When I was in the Navy we had underwater demolition team.  They came with the fleet and went under our ships in port to search for bombs that might have been affixed to our hulls.  The SEAL comic book hero worship/bull sheet started up later.  I was a photog. and I carry around secrets that I don't know if they are unclassified now so I just shut up and said "I don't know" and "I don't remember."  Why get in trouble with the gov't by saying something about the past that might still be classified?

He tried to get va $$ by claiming he got The PTSD by attending funerals in the US.  He had two MPs come to his house and confiscate his campaign medal because he never left the US and was a mere "postal monkey."  Jason Ellenburg says he is 100% crazy but the va says he is only 30% crazy.  http://aspecialdayguide.com/jason_ellenburg_ellenberg%20admits%20nuts.htm

@Flag_Waver @DanielABernath1 @chefbowser @DavidHinchy @missreba06 I don't talk to crazy.  A grown man who torments a mentally ill person to self murder betrays his oath to protect the American people AND betrays our system of helping out veterans who need help.  We don't torment them to self murder.  Don Shipley, hero in his own mind, ia a murderer.  Sue me and I'll prove that the statement is true to a jury.

That is some story you have there.  You know that Military Police aren't sent to a National Guardsman's house to "confiscate" a medal that was never physically awarded.  That's right, danny, the award was on my DD-214 only.  Or, do you believe a battalion would hand out a medal to every single member who deployed?  Nope.

The truth is, I ordered my medal from a website for my uniform.  It was on paper, so I ordered it myself to wear rather than wait for the supply system to get in enough for my troops.  You see, I was the guy doing the ordering for the rest of my company.

So, you are suggesting that the Oregon Military Department send a couple of Military Police to confiscate an item that I purchased with my own money.  That's called theft.  A good attorney, or someone who had even half a clue about the military, would know that you are talking so much bullshit that you should hire out to talk to farmlands for fertilizer.

You must be an idiot if you think that your poorly-made website is evidence.  The judge didn't think so when you sued me and lost.  Good luck trying to find anyone who will back up your claim of valor theft.  I'm a regular at TAH and have already been vetted by them, just as you have.  Unlike you, I passed with flying colors.

So, who is the more crazy, a guy who spent nine years in the military, was blown up, and has a 30% for PTSD or a guy who cyber-stalks people, making poorly-coded websites about them filled with libelous claims, and sues them frivolously?

*You are so very right.  So, why are you tormenting me so badly?

*You have sued me frivolously.

*You have made a libelous website with my facebook comments and comments from various other places I posted.

*You have posted my address and phone number.

*You have posted pictures of my wife.

*You have contacted my hobbies, that I use to "self-medicate" through volunteer service, to get me kicked out.

*You have called the police and SWATted me.

*You regularly insult me, call me crazy, and lie about me on various websites.

What have I done to you?  You say that I threatened your live when I wrote a Zen Koan about a sword on my facebook page (without reference to you),  You say I threatened your life when I wrote about a "final solution" with regards to a pest problem in my home (without reference to you).  You say I threatened you by posting a meme about Jesus whipping money changers with his belt!

When it comes to cyber-harassment, I think you should look in the mirror.
